may be if this vid gets enough exposer there could be a data pack to enable fire arrows to light the portals i think it be handy espechily when running from a hord of mobs trying to kill you in a desprate dash
The reason of this, is because it isnt the fire that lights it. In one of the minecraft official books, it states that nether portals need flint n steel to activate, because of the "click" sound. Next, try seeing if lighting nearby blocks, can activate the portal-
I hate how systematic these videos are that I was able to predict “He’s gonna try using it on other objects then when it doesn’t work on the portal, the music’s gonna stop, then he’s gonna do something else with the bow and then go into 3rd person and play the hurt sound”
Don't worry, he had one block retextured to obsidian and he swapped it. For the lighting up, in video editing he cut out the part when he replaced the block with real obsidian and lit it up. You can clearly see where he cut it
I feel bad for the little crepper not knowing what is happening and suddenly someone shot a fire arrow at it and he blow up :((((( RIP Crepper are a little ehh but they re so cuteeee!!!!💓💓💓
Fact: in bedrock edition, you can lit tnt and all type of campfire use fire aspect enchantment book. Or, you can use sword with fire aspect enchantment (more durability flint and steel :v)
My brain: Are you going to sleep? Me: Yes, now shut up. My brain: Did you know that flaming arrows don't activate a portal or make a creeper blow up in Minecraft? Me: 😳
A flaming arrow works for me in the regular game. I didn't have flint and steel so I set Planks on fire with lava a few blocks in front of the portal and shot my arrow through the flame igniting the portal. I didn't use enchantments
