Yeah, it's an interesting idea where it prioritizes consistency over getting a fast single run, and requires salvaging runs where you mess up

People who are not familiar with the game will not be impressed as much when seeing this video in recommended. Because they might not know that 50 wins is the final achievement. On the other hand, the way he named the video makes viewer interested even if they don't know that the 50 wins is an achievement.

minus about 200 for the starting and downloading, so actually more 140 seconds, thats 2 minutes 20 seconds and my first run took an infinite amount of time bc i never finished it on that save.

They wouldn't speedrun the refund% each time because they have to practice first to make a refund challenge attempt. And if they fail they have to purchase again so another reason (uhTrance failed the 1st attempt lol) why you make this over dramatic. Do a simple math, what is let's say 1000 refunds (probably way less) per year because of speedruns compared to 100's of thousands of purchases? Yes exactly, nothing because there are more regular refunds than there would be speedrun refunds. Please don't make a big deal out of nothing. Enjoy the video and have a nice day ✌️

It's really only a problem if it's an indie dev relying on the proceeds and not a giant multimillion dollar company. (Which by the way, that happened one time. An indie dev legitimately quit the industry because they made a game under two hours long. So people completed it casually and refunded the thing.)

I'm not sure if he said anything in the video about it, but thats not the point of this new genre of speedrun. Although I personally think this was a terrible game to try and 100% to get a refund, the point of these speedruns is to 100% and get a refund of a game in under the refund time of 2h. There's a dude who does resident evil remake speedrun refunds 100% them, which requires like a lot of achievements and includes things like, never taking damage, on the hardest difficulty, no healing items, etc.

I think under 2 hours played and less than 14 days from purchase is an unconditional refund for any reason with no questions asked, and if you exceed that limit then it's up to Steam Support to decide whether they approve the refund request based on the reason you gave.
