I actually didn't even plan on doing this run. I was experimenting with save wizard to see which items can be turned into items from other categories. The rosmarinus was kind of a random choice, but then it suddenly turned into an actual playthrough... so here we are.

I actually work at the hospital in Glasgow (Scotland) where Joseph Lister worked for many years. Although the listerizer was unsuccessful lister really was the father of modern surgical infection prevention and a bit of a legend in the field

The weapon's name is the Latin translation for rosemary, being formed of the words "Ros" meaning "dew" and "Marinus" meaning "of the sea," so the question of how to pronounce it is exactly like how you think it would be - "ros - marinus." It really does fit even more with the ocean theme of the Cthulian mythos, as well as the fact rosemary was once believed to be a psychostimulant, thought of as a way to help people remember things that were long forgotten. Rosemary was also once believed to be able to purify disease, being hung above doorways during the black plague to fend off sickness as well as being part of the herb mixture that doctors would wear in their billed masks, so the in-game description takes quite the literal interpretation from historical superstition. A fun fact, if you look on the belt of the Choir set you will actually see a small plant with white flowers attached to it. That's actually what rosemary looks like in real life.

I came to watch the challenge but was treated to some sweet, sweet lore. Hell yeah, man! This was a ton of fun. Great job.

the rosmarinus is one of those weapons where, when I encountered a hunter in the nightmare mensis that used it as their sidearm it did absolutely shitloads of damage to me but, I could never replicate those same levels of damage whenever I used it even though I had the stats and upgrade materials that should have in theory made it great. so whenever I see a challenge run with one of these weapons I am always very curious to learn what it was I did (or didn't) miss or did not have to really get the most out of it and, in that regard, this video did not disappoint. p.s. I have always gone out of my way not to hit the chapel dweller & I gotta say hearing his dialogue when you sprayed him was just... so incredibly sad. I love that guy, he his a beacon of hope and humanity even though he knows both the night and the hunt are long and hearing him plead for his life honestly hurt.

The brief explanations of relevant historical medical practices alongside the usual recital of the word "puke" multiple times is a very nice addition. Nice work as usual, *and* more!
