I die way more with stealth builds than tank builds so I agree, but I think stealth builds can be way more powerful in the end.

Ah yes, still doesn't change anything. The second time I was 100% hidden. I didn't mention it but any time I tried stealing from bunker hill they knew immediately throughout the run. There's a few locations like that. For example Trudy's diner is the same alongside certain settlements where you can be hidden and steal and they just know you stole and shoot.

Viewer rule n°1: enjoy the video and stop obsessing over every detail. In all honesty I don't care about people's taboos on how to play or not play a game. I'll do me and what I please. You do you. Follow your silly rules about playing games but trying to make other people play how you want them to is lame imo.

@@WillowPlaysGames Not getting 10 points is something that has always been known about the series. That comment was trying to help, if I wanted to criticize I would talk about the 5 times per video telling people to subscribe.

ya know what, I apologize, I should of worded my last comment better, now don't get me wrong, I stand by what I said, I don't think getting 10 in a special stat is a bad thing, especially in fallout 4 where it's possible to get 11 in every stat. But I'm talking about challenge runs, they play out differently than most playthroughs and having a 10 off the bat is incredibly useful for specific instances. in this video I'm having to sneak a lot, and while unknown exactly how, it is used in the formula for enemy detection. Considering that these runs rarely go past level 25 I'd rather not spend points on upping any special stats and the agility bobblehead is even more useful if I already have 10 agility. this logic applies to the strength stat for melee builds and the endurance stat for almost every run as being able to take even 1 more shot in survival means a lot. now I want to address your criticism. I'm sure you have that impression from the melee only video where the pinned comment is me acknowledging that I did too many call to actions. since then I've been very aware of how often I tell people to subscribe and like. in this video you can pull up the transcript by clicking the description and if you don't count the call to action at the end of the video that every youtuber does you'll see I only asked people to subscribe 2 times which I think is reasonable for how long the video is. anyways, hope you have a wonderful day and sorry if I upset ya, you're beautiful and I am glad you enjoy fallout so much.

That sounds like a Pacifist run. Stealth more or less is better with no companions and relying on if you know the layout and enemy spawns placements are at. Im glad this game is being played but it will bet tworn apart after this tv show.

Could actually work with the Water Gun you get from Nuka World. It doesn’t do any damage at all, but does engage in combat with enemies. (Allowing your companion to fight enemies who aren’t automatically aggro’d onto you; you’d be surprised how many important NPC’s aren’t automatically aggressive against the player.)

I suggest using the should fit for a run, bonus points if u also use deliver

If memory serves me correctly i believe the best set of armor/weapons you can "steal" would be 3/4 set of dwarven armor in the museum in Markarth. unless you leveled pickpocket to 100 and found an enemy with better armor as you cant pickpocket most NPCs armors unless you kill em. Weapons wise the best early game 1 handed sword you can get is an elven sword which is master locked behind a display case in Dragonsreach unless you consider taking chillrend from Mercers house in Riften theft but it doesn't get the "Stolen" tag. Bows theres an elven bow in the Companions place in Whiterun. Dwarven heavy weapons and 1 handed weapons for the rest is all i can remember also in the museum in Markarth or theres 2 dwarven weapons in Kodlaks room (i believe both 2 handed but i dont remember exactly). Which for survival difficult it would be extremely hard to progress without anything better then early/med game gear, his crafting only run he used ebony/daedric early on and still died quite a bit. The run would most likely have to heavily abuse crafting (stealing ores / ingots) and stealth archer / enchanting build as it is the most broken build to play as

@@WillowPlaysGames sometimes I forget how tedious is to level up in vanilla Fallout. I use a mod that "linearaze" the exp with your level + INT bonus and even using the lowest option I'm, like, level 40-something in less than 3 hours lol

Watch the first 4 runs on the channel. I used vats a ton. But also, just so happens my next run is a vats only one, recording starts soon

I mean learning from reading the spellbook is perfectly fine. Smithing is much more weird in Skyrim.

I’m pretty sure it has its own damage type too, meaning there isn’t any way for NPC’s to get resistance to it, similarly to cryo grenades.

@@WillowPlaysGames It's been fun, probably a mistake to do Unarmed only with all the V.A.T.S. bugs. There was even a moment where I was halfway to Faneuil Hall, tried to Blitz a turret and it teleported me right outside Pickman Gallery XD

Black Widow only increases difficulty at ranks 2 and 3, so it’s good at rank 1 for pacifist runs. (Also, there’s probably a mod that fixes it since it’s literally just a typo in the game’s code apparently)

I think robots are immune to it, but that one perk that lets you hack robots could probably deal with it very quickly. (There’s also gun-bashing, which can actually do some serious damage)

I'm not sure, it sounds easy but so did this run. I'd have to research it, at first thought I know that there's a ton of caps available early on without the water farm, would probably rush to get overseer's guardian and trivialize the run if I was trying to meta game it.

oh, my plan for food and water was to steal what I could while beating the game quickly. there is a decent amount to steal and I also allowed myself to drink from water sources in settlements I didn't own.

go to settlements, they always have a few pieces of produce that are marked as owned.
