Ya know, I'd never noticed how detailed the assaultron punching animation is until now. The forearms extend out like pistons and the hands actually spin like a drill (kinda reminds me of Engie's taunt kill with the Gungslinger from TF2). That's pretty nifty.

Elder Maxson Climbing on the roof of the Airport to personally repel the Institute attack with his Gatling is an absolute Chad move. Didn't work out for him, but I respect the hustle.

After your protection run i actually attempted to beat this same challenge as the assaultron for the hell of it. Glad to see you trying it too.

Y'know, now that I think of it, hearing Nora's voice coming out of an assaultron's vocoder pushes a button in my brain somewhere. I wonder if there's a mod that just overwrites you with the sulta model, not the skeleton. Go around the wasteland roleplaying as a self-aware AI or something, but equip and use weapons like normal (because those manipular digits *can* technically reposition to function as a thumb and fingers) and use the assaultron backpack and carry pouch modifications from Automatron to achieve the wanderer look.

Honestly, a spin off of a servant robot that gain sentience from watching his/hers family die when the bombs dropped would be kinda dope

Crazy enough I actually met the current captain of Ol’ Ironsides in real life. Was disappointed she wasn’t a large freedom dispensing death machine

Perhaps in future runs you could add some spice by allowing yourself to use the Automatron DLC upgrades if that's possible, with the only restriction being that all the limbs and body have to remain as the chosen robot for the run. (I.E Only Sentry-Bot legs, body, arms, head, etc, but you can use all the Automatron upgrades and weapons for those parts.)

The reason so many enemies resorted to punching you is that you took level 2 of Big Leagues. That gives your melee attacks a chance to disarm enemies. The reason you noticed it happening more later is that Big Leagues Level 3 increases the disarm chance.

This challenge is probably my favorite I have seen on RU-vid. The moment I watched the camera pan to a pink assaultron mid dialogue, I knew this one would be a treat.

This is a fantastic run! It's so fun the assaultron gameplay is sick. Also the combat at 33:57 with your assaultron stabbing into this massive behemoth of a sentry bot with the only lighting being the orange glow of his visor and the blue explosions of sparks is honestly one of the coolest damn things ever and its super cinematic. Welldone!

I feel like the institute route would’ve been great for a robo brain and feel like that run needs to happen (could be explained with some alternate lore too)

I love these runs! I think it’s nice to just have an info dump in the beginning prior to the run, makes things more clear then other people’s challenge runs! Would like to see more dumb modded runs! Maybe on some of the older fallouts too? For example Randomizer mods are always fun! Anyway, thanks Willow!

I did read it, but I'll give a general compliment: Today might not have been great, but you did the best you can. Just keep going, tomorrow may be better but you won't know until you get there; don't focus on the finish line, just get through the next five steps. You can do this. I believe in you.

Fun, as always! Skyrim: Ahzidal's Ring of Arcana. Rules. Can only use spells you start with to get the ring, then only use Ignite and Freeze afterwards. You can learn the two required spells for the College, but thats it. Ignite is effected by the Aspect of Terror glitch, so its a little harder with the Unofficial Patch removing it. Fallout 4: You already hinted at Unarmed, so how about Minigun Only? The minigun is considered underpowered at later levels, but pretty good up to the 20-30s. Of course, Suvival would be a different etory. Main issue is maintaining ammo for it, if you don't want to just use the Shredder mod and the Basher perk.

Seeing this run, it makes me wonder if you're able to use the Assaultron Blade and Salavaged Assaultron Head as the Assaultron. It would be funny to see for the memes, but for a run; most likely impractical

The USS Constitution is also still a commisioned warship. So not only is she the oldest ship still afloat, she's the oldest commissioned warship still afloat. HMS Victory is the oldest commisioned ship in the world, but she's also permanently in dry dock.

The reason enemies were trying to punch you is because you were using melee combat which gives them a chance to block.

After watching your protectron run, I want to abandon my current heavy winter zombie apocolypse run and start a robot army controlling Protectron run

This is how I ce up with my channel and online persona in her current form. Theod exists on Xbox too but it was weird and didn't worked as well as it does on PC as it seems or anything like i would have enjoyed. So I created Anna Saultron the Character in Fallout 76 because it was new at that time and I thought awesome. I switched back to FO4 recreated her and well now she is kinda my Maine Char to a point that I even adopted the name. This was a quite nice work even if I would say the BOS is a better Fit for an Assaultron because they are military Robots and the most likely faction in Fallout 4 to be mistaken as the army is the BOS.

Idea: Can you beat Fallout 4 as a WW1 Soldier? Very Hard difficulty. Weapons: only use Hunting Rifle, iron sights only, with bayonet. Armor: Army Uniform & Army Helmet only (Ballistic weave allowed). Minutemen or Brotherhood would probably be best to side with thematically.

Using the furious power fist, I managed to punch a deathclaw into orbit and to this day it's the coolest thing that's ever happened to me

Fun fact!!! When in 3rd person with your fists or a melee weapon, you can flip or , make them fall, when you press bash a couple times

If it's possible you should try to beat fallout 4 as a sentry bot.

I’d like to think the unarmed enemies bug is because they think you’re unarmed and want to give you an honest fight.

You might not see this but I've been loving your channel! I had a suggestion for fallout 4: legendaries only. Either playing with only legendaries you find or downloading a mod that makes every enemy legendary. The second would probably have you dying a lot though, I can't count the number of times I've died to a level 1 raider with a legendary plasmified or bleed effect gun

I would suggest making a run where you play as a supermutant. That would be a fun time playing as one.

The greatest thing in gaming, is when you're supposed to follow a character. But the game takes control of you, and you don't have to move yourself. The game just makes you follow them

Imagine a multiplayer run with 1 person being a protectron and ty e other a assaultron

Robobrain could also be fun, but same with protectron speed would be huge fucking pain

gonna be honest, everytime you died, i heard the sound that happens when you die in a Lego game. also, that awkward little run-walk thing during the Jack Cabot mission was hilarious😂

maybe look into the custom camera mod so you can try to tune the camera to your taste. for one, you could center your character in the middle, you can lower the angle/camera so its not so high above your character, you can set out of combat camera to be much further zoomed out and when you enter combat you can set it close to your character. on gun character i set up my out of combat camera to be very directional(left or right toggleable with hotkey) and just a tiny bit further out than the combat camera, so that when i ads, it zooms in a little bit and my character body stays generally in the same location kind of like a lot of other 3rd person shooters you will see like for example i can have remnant II like ads camera or like a division 2 riot shield non ads camera, and when i ads it looks like riot shield pistol ads camera.

I really like the playable robot mod cx Oh also if you want the head laser to come out of the head ya gotta change the assaultron head to the assaultron head laser in the armour workbench :3 Whenever I use the laser for the first time, I save an quit and it makes the red glow go away.
