I think he might be slightly colorblind because no way in hell is that sand anything but grey. Also that wood is definitely brown, not yellow. and also those bullies were DEFINITELY not black. I think he might have been throwing.
0:52 Green eliminated (World 1 hubworld). Let's face it, who actually expected green to last long? 1:16 White eliminated (Super Bell Hill) 2:16 Yellow eliminated (exiting Super Bell Hill) 3:13-3:30 A fireflower could let you beat 1-A without touching blue, and you could just touch the stem of the flower to obtain it 3:36 Red eliminated (Mount Beanpole, though it looks more pink than red) 4:12 Orange eliminated (Mount Beanpole) 4:56 Blue actually eliminated (Plessie's Plunging Falls, you're playing as Plessie, and Plessie is forced to touch blue) 5:01 Brown eliminated (Plessie's Plunging Falls) 6:56 Grey eliminated (Shadow Play Alley) 9:31 Purple eliminated (Pretty Plaza Panic) 11:13-11:38 The Bullies in this game and SMM2 are blue, the only black things to avoid are the projectiles from the octoombas
That’s what I was thinking too. No offense to Nathaniel, but I feel like he might be colorblind. Or at least he’s struggling to decipher one color from the other.
Oh nice, I loved the idea of this series on the other channel... I mean your brother's channel. A more in depth version of it sounds like a lot of fun!
Well...i smell a new series being born. A very COLORFUL one.... (Also FYI the bullies are BLUE in 3D world...so you could have kept going...) (Bullies appear in Super Mario 3D World and reappear in its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, where they have been redesigned. They are now made of a BLUE shiny metal.) (That info comes from mario wiki.)
He probably thought it was black because of the lighting which is fair, but he still could’ve looked up the proper color of bullies and he also still could’ve used the fire flower or boomerang flower on them.
So everyone's pounted out the blue bullies and fire flower already, but black was actually out of the run much earlier than that. At 7:14 you hit the fuzzies in the shadow section and while we may not be counting the shadows as black, the offscreen fuzzies that the offscreen Peach hit are black
I love the idea, but I’m convinced you said some colours were another just to get the video over with. You called blue black, you called tan yellow, then you touched tan and called it brown just so you can say you had to touch it; you called grey blue, and more.
Green is squished by a feet 0:56 White was thrown in the trash can 1:30 Yellow was thrown into the ocean 2:21 Blue exploded 3:27 Red was slapped by a hand 3:40 Orange was squished by a falling brick 4:18 Brown was chopped in half by an axe 5:11 Gray moves away 7:00 Pink was thrown into a garbage truck 8:44 Purple died 9:45 Black was thrown into the sun 11:42
He’s not controlling any of the characters, so no it is not cheating. Even though it doesn’t matter when you consider that yellow was one of the first colors to be eliminated.
Nathaniel, you didn't have to touch white at the beginning. Just do a ground pound jump on the bricks, i know you still lose a color, but at least white would have a chance to live for longer.
Theoretically maybe you could've avoided touching orange for the warp box by having a 2nd player walk into the box, & then wait until you become an orb & it drags you in since that's out of your control, but orange probably would've been touched very soon anyway. Regardless great video Nathaniel!!
4:00 Fun Fact: All colors from dark brown to pale skin are varrying shades of orange. By that logic, this skin colored bridge is grouped as both brown and orange, knocking both colors out of the challenge.
I hate to break this to you and your brother… that “blue” cave was grey, the “black” was first dark green then dark blue, the “yellow” was sometimes brown or orange, the “red”was pink… but don’t let that stop you or Bathaniel from making more of these challenges.
No color challenge is a neat adaptation from your brother’s channel. For the Bullies towards the end, technically, you can use the Fire Flower to push the bullies off to progress further. However, I don’t the run would’ve made it farther past World Castle.
