thats what I hate about these titles. Its always yes. Its obvious. Its just slow and hard. How come nobody comes up with actual challenges where you genuinely think it might not be possible? There's a hardcore runscape series locked on 1 hp. Where's 1 hp skyrim challenge?
@@PongoFreake I havent found a preffered no hud mod so I just throw opaque about 85% up so I can see dialogue, it's mostly the compass I love to hide. Much more immersive
you can't even do that, without mods, consistently though mostly because depending on where your cursor is, it deselects the default option tho to be fair "better dialogue controls" and "better messagebox controls" are the kind of mod you only remember when you forget to install it once every blue moon

When I first saw this video in my recommended, I forgot that "UI" and "HUD" aren't exactly the same thing and I was thinking "I mean of course you could, Skyrim doesn't really have much of a HUD, you'd only really be losing your compass and health/stamina/magicka bars and it's still pretty easy to tell how you doing without those, this won't be hard at all." So glad I actually watched the video and saw what was really going on.
This is the first video of yours that Ive seen, and I actually really enjoyed it. While I still dearly miss him and nobody will ever truly replace him for me, you are the closest Ive ever seen someone get to Mitten Squad’s style, and for that you have my immense thanks.
I recently started another play through with no compass or quest markers. It's a really nice change of pace. You took that as far as it goes, bro. Good job.
That's my preferred way to play. Somehow, I have no compass by default now, despite having no mods and having reinstalled my game and deleting all my data. I'm stoked.

I too will take the quickest path to my destinations. Straight through the mountains. Even in the modded Gates to Sovngarde I find myself climbing directly through them. However I will say Skyrim has taught me that, if anything, what mountains are climbable.
