9:19, starfury actually comes from 1.0 but back then, it used to use mana (i think it was 11 mana). while it may seem weird it somehow actually makes sense to me. It summons a star that falls from the sky which is slightly similar to other magic weapons
It does make sense considering it was also stronger. It wasn't just 1 star, it was similar to meteor staff actually. Also I think that locked chests on floating islands is pretty fun little idea
Correct, it USED to be a magic weapon, it had a 11-16 mana usage during the pre 1.1 days, it did around 15 damage and caused 3 stars to fall at a angle from the sky per swing/use, it was a great weapon which is why its name is still held in high regard even today.
@@littlehivetyrant2383 Its coding went to become the Star Cloak actually, but seeing as it was THE Area of Effect weapon at the time, it could techically do upwards of 60 DPS on large crowds or worm based enemies like the Eater of Worlds.
also the night's edge wasn't a full circle, it was just a regular sword. Pretty much ALL melee weapons were just regular overhead swing swords. Starfury was pretty much the only exception which is part of why it used mana imo. It did something supernatural beyond just being a sword
I love making huge arenas, part of the reason I want to play calamity. I’ve seen some people convert literally half of their world into a massive arena
@@Brog73If you prefer a larger arena for plantera you leave a column of mud blocks in the center, and then actuate it once it's covered in jungle grass.
agree i'm tired of hearing "master mode is difficult" while i can easily beat daytime eol pre-golem and moon lord on gfb as true melee so master is literal heaven especially premech pre-queen slime fishron

@@TheLusion well I'm happy for you, but master mode is rather difficult for a lot of people. Even expert is often too much for some. It's not very helpful to talk down to people who aren't as good as you are at the game. Also I replied to you and not the original comment because your comment was effectively trash talking people who think master mode is hard, while theirs was just making a statement about their progress as a player.
Honestly can't blame you. Moon lord is either DPS or mobility and you have neither, but it's an impressive enough feat to make it that far regardless. Congrats
Playing Classic actually makes sense here because of it being the only option at the time, but I bet someone could have completed this challenge in Master mode (Probably with a LOT of cheese).
Looking at videos like this, one particular thing comes to mind. I remember back in like 2015, I beat Moonlord only using Hallowed armor and whatever weapon I had (not even Terra Blade level), by spamming the nurse heal, coupled with the fact I had the puase option enabled. It took me about an hour I think. My friends were in bewilderment, but I genuinely had no clue Hallowed armor wasn't the best the game had to offer. (I was like 11)
mech boss summons can drop from enemies in hardmode, and the bosses can spawn on their own, meaning the orichalcum anvil was not necessary for progression.
the mech bosses can be spawned one of two ways, naturally each night with a 10% chance but only after breaking at least one altar (with a hammer that doesnt exist) or by using the summon (that doesnt exist) which can be crafted (with souls that dont exist) at a mythril or orichalcum anvil (neither of which exist)
The reason why Golem was rapidfiring the lasers, when he is led outside of the Jungle he gets enraged, although instead of a damage buff like Plantera, it makes him jump and shoot lasers faster
I love how my brain has allocated a section already to this knowledge for a mpd I’ll never play because of Tdlmc, but doesn’t allocate a section to remembering my own social security number or what I’m doing when I walk into another room

Most worlds don’t have a temple, and they usually have just 1. It’s between 3 different loot so talking about just the loot, it’s not really lucky. Really people prefer the sandstorm in a bottle
Would the orange zapinator technically count as a 1.0 weapon? Because a version of it was in 1.0 and earlier, mostly for dev use, but it was still technically in the game all the way back then even if not obtainable by regular means.
@@jayminyoel7911 You could make an argument that the orange zapinator was also reworked from how it originally functioned. Another example of this i thought of could be the upcoming rework to phasesabers. That's actually better comparison to the Zapinator. Idk anything about terraria's id system, so can't make any funny retorts about that. Valid point regardless. (Also always happy to see a fellow Kirby fan.)

You should make a video were you gotta play terraria with a full inventory at all times, so when your inventory gets full the only way to get rid of items is to switch them out with other items and you can't store anything in chests
This is a pretty good run would have been interesting on master mode but realistically might be run ending at mech bosses, anyhow really good video hope to see more
Moon Lord is possible but the star cannon is a requirement by the way so I can imagine that would be a massive headache and still takes forever The star cannon can kill moon lord decently well but considering how expensive ammo is... Unless you cheat in all the stars and farm money its not happening. Congrats for making it so far
You made two mistakes. 1) You were allowed to reforge using both the goblin and shimmer, because those are not items. 2) You were required to stop after Plantera, because spawning Golem requires using the solar cell, an item added after 1.0

You keep continuously saying how your surprised the phoenix blaster or the molten fury is doing as good as it is but remember. They are built to be decent for early hard mode.
