Reminds me of my dad, may he rest in peace, as we chatted on the course one day. We were talking about the pros and the clubs they use, and how dialed in and tailored for them they are. He said, "Sure, they have club fitters who get every club perfect for them, but those guys could beat us playing with a banana on a string." Lord, how I miss him, along with the time out on the course.

Bryson, you have become one of my absolute favorite RU-vid personalities. I like so many others, only saw what I perceived as just another arrogant PGA golfer when I first saw you play. I figured you for a guy that could hit the ball far but would never find much success. I will admit that not only was I wrong about your abilities. I was completely wrong about your character. You are the #1 reason that i went back to watching Pro Golf, again! When you dunked that shot on 18 at the Masters this year, I stood up and yelled at my TV! It gave me chills! I love to watch these challenges to see your mind at work. It kind of brings you down to "weekend golfer" level. You know guys who own clubs but have no idea how far any of them go. They don't fit so constantly adjusting everything. But the cool thing is taking your golf swing knowledge and club knowledge and watching you adjust. Especially watching you clean clubs, something very few weekends do thanks.

This was so entertaining and actually pretty impressive. I did not expect even a pro could get those results from a junior starter set. It's not just the big difference in quality of the clubs, but the significantly shorter length that you'd think would be a massive handicap.

This was so awesome. I love watching a world class player using budget off the shelf clubs. It just goes to show you that when you are really good equipment is no obstacle to success. How he was able to adjust his game to the club limitations was very neat.

You should do more of those challenges. Budget clubs, +/- 500$ secondhand set, you pick your clubs like Rick and Peter Golfbidder challenge. It was a great watch.

I saw in the comment replies there was a young kid asking Bryson for advice and he really took the time to let him know a video to watch and help with technique. As really the only golfer on tour with a consistent RU-vid channel, id love to see a video that shows the behind the scenes role of your caddie. Like does he watch your practices to know your tendencies, weak and strong areas ECT to help with on course management.
