first kayla points out how not being allowed to change swatches after placing items is really difficult aaand then she starts doing it out of habit :'D

I like how she keeps saying what she would do in normal circumstances (like placing filler furniture), showing an example (places filler furniture and sees that it fits), deletes it, and says that she can't do that in this challenge.

I would say that you can use every "arrow" once and once it is placed you cannot move it anymore (for the roof and flooring etc)

Ideas for roofing rules in this challenge : You say out loud how you plan the roof to look like, then you may drag and drop each asset once : - length (you may only drag one side since you should have been able to place the other one already on the spot) - angle - overhang. If you must shift-detail the sides at different lengths, you must start with the shorter side. - arching the roof top make it rounder/pointy (yes, after the overhang, I am evil). - color and trim Allowed : - Layering roof pieces if this was your original plan - flat roofs - keep the default roof pieces - adding dormers, chimneys and bumps to cover your mistakes - any bug workaround Not allowed : - Copy/paste roof pieces - Rotate roof pieces (must be done before placing) - Changing your mind beteen your plan and the real thing - Adding un-planned roof pieces to cover a weird gap Please give feedback !

I think the 'no mistake' thing should exclude the roof, cuz the roof well is awful if you can't touch it, but the rest is fine

Helpful tip for small bedrooms, the 'budding blossom' end table from seasons will fit in a 3 wide space either side of a double bed. You have to alt place them but as they are the smallest side tables in the game they will fit

Since this happened to me all the time, use the Vaseline LIPS (its looks like a mini tub of normal Vaseline but it’s make specifically for lips) on your lips at bed time, like coat them good. It helps tremendously with the corner of your mouth cracking!

you should do every room is a different townies room challenge, so if you got the goths for the kitchen, you would have to make their kitchen. if you got the pleasant’s bedroom, you have to put one of their rooms down. hope that makes sense!

Lilsimsie, I think for tis challenge for roofing you should be allowed to use each arrow to move and adjust the roof piece once so if you make it taller and then don't like it you've now used your one chance and its stuck like that. I hope that makes sense.

Ok here me out- 10 minute no mistakes build challenge

Idea: What if, for a build challenge, Kayla had to go through the catalog and pull out everything she needed to use for an entire house, then build it with those items. For walls and floors, she can set out a singular wall and put a wallpaper or whatever on it, same with floors. Once she starts the walls of the house, no going back. She can't go back to the catalog to grab something, nor delete anything she laid out before.

maybe, to fit in with the challenge, you have to create the roof pieces off of the house (like on the lawn or something) and you can fiddle with them all you want but once you place it on the house it's there and you can't change/adjust it

Honestly, for this challenge, I think the roofs should either be exempt or a certain amount of 'adjustments' allowed. Becasue you literally cannot 'draw' the roofs. You HAVE to place them before adjusting them. They aren't quite so 'cut and dried' as the walls. But yeah, its more amusing when you don't. heh
