Can I build an 8 sim house on the smallest lot? 

You know what would be a fun build challenge idea? Someone else verbally describes a build (maybe a floorplan or a house for rent/sale or their own Sims build) to you - one that you haven't seen and can't see - and you do your best to try and recreate it as closely as possible in the Sims 4. At the end, you make comparisons between what should have been and what you did and either have a good laugh or be amazed at your talent!

I like watching floor plans being done because they're one of my favorite parts and I appreciate the brainstorming process

American here and the “lip” is so that you don’t need a backsplash- if you spill something it won’t pool in the right-angle corner between the paint and the counter and cause problems. It’s easier to clean up after!

I like when you build while talking, I like seeing the different things you choose before you land on one thing, and I LOVE the first person tours at the end.

I love watching you build everything. From the first wall to the last piece of furniture. I don't want it sped up, I love watching the process of how you build the exterior, then the floor plan, then furnishing. I think if people only want to watch certain parts, they can always skip to just the furnishing or whatever, but I personally love to be able to watch everything without speeding or cutting out too much. I love watching the thought process that goes into the builds. :)

i just love watching you build straight through. its really warm and comforting! while i like to see the transformation on speed builds sometimes, listening to you narrate as you go with the keyboard sounds is satisfying

I my country, all counters have lips. I believe it is about keeping spills from getting behind the counter, and cause mold or rot🤷‍♀️😂

I really like watching you do floor-plans because it gives me inspiration for my own floor-plans but you could have a time stamp for people who don’t want to watch the floor plan to just skip to!

I love that you build with gameplay in mind. I'd quite like to see some different lot types, like a gym or an over the top kids playground or something. Whilst I love houses, I did really enjoy watching the Spa build and old videos like the alphabet challenge café.

It's good to hear/see how you build certain things and the tricks you use.

Cute house! Americans do have the "lip" or backsplash on counters very often. This prevents damage to the walls from spillage.

To me, it seems so odd to place the couch rigt in front of the entry, and generally entering straight into the living room. In Northern Europe we usually enter into a hallway or a mudroom, to keep dirt and cold from the rest of the home. Besides that I love the build 😊 Hope you're settling well in your new home 😊

I love this build! My only thought is the microwave should not be in front of the window. It blocks the light and no outlet available in the window area. You can see the backside from the outside. Also, if toddlers are living here, you will need a toddler bed and potty.

The counter back edge (lip) is to protect the walls and to keep spills from dripping behind the counters.

If I did this challenge, I would model it after a place I actually used to live. A small kitchen and only 1 person was allowed (and I don't mean 1 person at a time). 1 small bathroom. 1 small living room. And a sleeping room which contained 12 cots on the floor. You know those people who hand out flyers for their church. That's where we would live. The sims wouldn't care. They don't even have assigned beds. Give them 4 queen beds with 1 square between

hey Deligracy love the build it looks great ^_^ If you have time I made a shell for you to try and fix up Its big but just want to see what people can do with it. Its called The Sunken house Shell. Also its for everyone to play with if anyone else wants to try it; I just like seeing how people can take something and make something from it.

I would appreciate seeing you doing the floor plan for builds, but I wouldn’t say I’d need that in every build (just because it’s more editing and you already have enough going on). Floor plans are really tough for me, and I think seeing your process a few times at least would be really useful.

Video idea: have James select a random item from the sims catalog and you have to use that item as the Inspiration for then entire build.

1st child of 7, gets a bit squashy sometimes but it's nice to have siblings! Also, the counter lip is to be sure nothing gets down behind your cabinetry. Say you spill a glass of water, it stops at the lip. Protects the wall, floor, and back of cabinet!

I enjoy seeing the all of the creative process, including the messy stuff. I don't necessarily need every small detail, or a tutorial, but I just like seeing people be creative from start to finish. That's usually why I watch build videos. :) So I'm totally interested in seeing floor plans, bathrooms, planning the house, final touches, etc., even if it's just a snippet. It's all interesting!

Always impressed with your use of color, the ability to mix and match, coming across as soft and minimalist without just being monochromatic or just white/grey. Very beautiful.

I don’t know who is chaotic enough to play with 8 sims at once but this is probably one of the best intentionally tiny builds I’ve seen for it

you should try making four 2-person apartments on a relatively small lot

I love seeing all of it and I like when you talk us though it but I also love a speed build even just for some of it. I definitely prefer to see it vs editing it out.

I love the real time builds but I can understand speeding some things up. I love all your videos truthfully. I do have some video ideas though! You could do some of The-Not-So-Berry builds,more generation builds. Also I would love to see you build a cul-de-sac on the 64x64 lot in Del Sol Valley.
