Dumb Question. If i buy a $50 usd walmart store gift card and then gift it to a friend in mexico, would he get the conversion rate for the amount i gave him? (853.90 mx pesos)
I'd like to purchase on Old navy but can't because of my billing address, I see Amazon sells Old Navy e gift cards do you think if I purchase on Amazon I'll be able to redeem on Old navy? I usually don't have an issue with my billing address on Amazon.
If you purchase an Old Navy gift card from one of their licensed sellers like Amazon.com or Giftcards.com, the Old Navy gift card should work in stores and on Old Navy.com. At Giftcards.com, for example, you can't buy a gift card if you have a foreign address so you might run into the same problem purchasing the gift card. I'm not sure if that's the question you're asking?
This is exactly what I wanted to know. I want to make a purchase at Maurices, However the billing issue. Shopping is only for US and Canadian Citizens. I have a credit card but its not a US credit card with a US address. I saw a gift card from Maurices on Amazon and was wondering if i could purchase a gift card and pay for the items I want through the gift card. Thank you so much.
No. To buy a gift card in the U.S., you must have a credit card or debit card that is registered to a U.S. address. If you know someone who is willing to make the purchase and deliver the card, then you can pay that person back. But in general, gift cards must be used in the country from which they are purchased. I hope that helps.
That is a question for Google. Here's a link to their website where they address country-specific questions: support.google.com/googleplay/answer/6080850?hl=en
Yikes - that's hard. My only thought is to give it to someone you trust in Canada. Ask them to buy a gift card that you can use--maybe an Amazon gift card. But just know that if you send someone the card information, that is the same thing as sending cash--the money will not be tracked and cannot be retrieved.
I'm not sure what the question is, but correct--to buy a gift card in the USA, you need to be in the US and have a billing address within the US as well. THEN that gift card only be used in the US.
Each gift card issuer will determine where their gift cards can be used in accordance with their local laws. If you have received a card and cannot register it because you have an address in Vermont, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands. contact Customer Service for that gift card to see if you can get a refund.
I'm sorry - but contact Amazon to be sure. This is what it says on the Amazon.com website: "Amazon.com Gift Cards can only be used to purchase eligible goods and services on Amazon.com and certain related sites as provided in the Amazon.com Gift Card Terms and Conditions. To purchase a gift card for Amazon's website in another country, please visit: Amazon.ca, Amazon.cn, Amazon.fr, Amazon.de, Amazon.in, Amazon.it, Amazon.jp, Amazon.uk, or Amazon.es."
my cousin is going to send me a egift card from usa and i live in canada can i use it to buy stuff online if the website is not usa based ? or does it have to be usa website and if i recall when i buy a physical visa gift card here in canada i can use it to buy or deposit money into website thats not canada based
You would have to use it in the US - and that includes websites. Do you have someone you trust who can use the card on your behalf and send whatever it is you want to purchase?
