This video guides you on whether you can claim points for job offer or not. What is a valid job offer in this situation?
You can gain either 50 or 200 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points for holding a Canadian job offer. The more CRS points you have, the more promising your chances are of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
With all the different immigration policies, laws, and visa opportunities in place, knowing what to apply for and how to apply can be confusing. Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants, or RCICs, are legally authorized representatives and members in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). Having an RCIC assist you in applying for your Canadian visa can greatly simplify your application.

Hi, I accidently said yes to this question (do you have a valid job offer letter) on my express entry application and under the LMIA I said I don't have one. now that I received my ITA I'm wondering what to do. I didn't claim any points under LMIA either. How should I proceed answering the same question on my PR application? thanking in advance

Hi ma’am, it’s really nice video and u explained really good but I have one more doubt, as I’m working as a office Administrative ( full time job) in a small business company and my employer is willing to provide me PR supporting job offer so for that how many hours do I need to work over their as currently I’m working like 35 hours per week so does that make any difference or I should work 40 hours a week ? and also doing a side job like part time. So do I’ve to mention my part time work experience as well in my express entry profile. Thanks

Hi Neha, I am in a little complex state and would like to know some more details on the same. I am on an open work permit but got a transfer from my employer in India to come and work from them in Canada on Canadian Payroll. Not an ICT, not an LMIA? I am a software engineer for a multinational company BTW. The company is ready to give a letter of employment verification stating I am on full-time employee and not any contractual job, so basically no end date.

Hi I came to Canada last year on trucking lmia I got class 1 driving license in November and then after my employer sent me on training and and then after told me his work slow and stop me to go trip for future and till today he can’t call me to work and never paid me anything I’m thinking to change my lmia can I take new lmia in different field like in hotel or restaurant will I get pump and get permanent through new lmia in different field please help me suggest me what should I do I will be thankful

Hey @puneetgupta5622 from whatever research and consultation I did, I was told there's no way out of your employer is not ready to provide the new offer letter stating the line " we are going to employ him/her for 1 year after getting the PR" so we can't claim that 50 points.

I have a closed work permit but my lmia expired. This job that I am currently doing was based on that positive work permit. Can I claim that 50 points still. Initially my original work permit is a 2 year work permit. Now I am on implied status but still working with the company under original condition based on that lmai.
