I’m 24 with a CHD and I’m too disabled to be a pilot, I’m too disabled to join the military, and I’m too disabled to get ANY job with a physical Because of my disability. How the hell is anyone supposed to prove their heart is much weaker than everyone else’s and any stress is taking away years of your life like miles off an engine. It’s fucking insanity the amount of people being denied for ACTUAL QUALIFIED CHD and how many people are abusing the system when they don’t deserve it too. I know a guy REAL 100% TRUE STORY he broke his pinky finger. And he was on disability for the rest of his life somehow. He even was working as a contractor building houses for people while still collecting his broken pinky finger disability. OH BUT WOAH HOLD UP IF YOU HAVE A BAD HEART you have to go through 10000 different tests to prove it for over a year just for them to say it’s not severe enough yet you’re not dying yet so you’re denied. The whole system is so screwed up especially when you’re telling probably millions of disabled ppl they’re denied.
I’m 22 with chd. Hard to get disability but Im fighting . Was approved but was let go due to turning age 18. They couldn’t find evidence that I couldn’t work due to the fact the severity wasn’t bad enough.
