@@sealboi9666 I think he is working on it but its not simple as africa is huge, after deciding in which area religion and culture to play, he still needs to forge an large realm while saying engaging comentary and editing it afterwards, and thats just for the first episode
Given how deadly the elephants are, if you hybridized with the norse and went down pillage all the way to "Making a Killing" you'd be able to pay for them pretty well.
You should have given more time to the playthrough cause south indian lands are very rich in high medievalo and with the right culture tradition combos this is very much viable
@@akashpatro9393 Oriya area is weak though. IF you start with chera dynasty(the worm like one on the west coast, the start will be slow but in like 20 years you can steamroll and take the Deccan Empire within the next 10. Indian should honestly have more focus from paradox I say
I personally would call it *madness* to play ck3 now a week before the best update/dlc combo yet to come out of paradox(imo) will completely overhaul the experience... But oh well, I'll watch it anyways:P
I feel like there should a Religion update where if you invade another part of the map where your faith does not occur, and hold their lands for a certain period of time (maybe 150 years), you can take over their Holy Site and turn it over to your faith, Kinda like the Temple in Jerusalem, but for all faiths if they meet the conditions
cool idea, but aren't holy sites supposed to have some kind of significance to that religion otherwise any ordinary county could become a holy site, that's just my opinion though...
This is a lot of Fun. With culture traditions like Only the strong, frequent festivities, culinary artists and some special help from Monaspa heavy cavalry, youcan have troops that do 600+ damage by the late game. My knight effectiveness was at 1059%. Its insane
@@yeet9410 in order, the first one reduces the cooldown by half ( to 3yrs). Second one gives 375 piety at start along with the normal 150 at the end and also 50 renown!, every three yrs
@@yeet9410 You could say that. Its 375+150 prestige everytime guaranteed and you could get more. So it helps with getting artifact claims, and improving traditions for your region. Pretty amazing combo
@@ProbablyNot18 i mean if i command my troops during battle, i get a ton of prestige already so i would say the main benefit is the renown, although obviously the prestige is nice too
Hey man so not sure if you found out after recording but to declare holy wars it scales with your level of piety, so you can only declare for counties at level 1, dutchies at level 2-3 (duitful to devoted servant), and starting at paragon of virtue(level 4) you can declare holy war for kingdom titles. Solid video btw, had zero clue elephants stomped so hard LOL
@@ProbablyNot18 Every county is still de jure part of a kingdom even if that kingdom title has yet to be created. Holy Wars work by seizing all of the counties that are de jure part of the title level being declared. So even a realm that is a single county in size can have a Holy War for Kingdom declared on them. You would just waste the Piety and once-per-lifetime war on grabbing a single county.
Start of the video, I think execution (A valid punishment for rebellion) of a ruler ends truces. So you didn't have to wait for the truce timer for that ruler in your jail, if you just had him crushed by elephants.
My favorite elephant fact is they remember like the elephant who trampled a 70 year old woman and then came back to her funeral and did it again. It really was on sight.
when you fight the 20K denmarks they not jumping all in, because the Ai thought 800 against a about 4K is not worth to jump in. after you defeated them the Ai realised it and send the next army of a few thousand and still thought they win.
This is truly amazing, Mr. Snap Strategy. I like this campaign but feel very woe that Scandavinda needs to be in your grasp. It's cool to see a drive involved with an Indian kingdom or empire to conquer a European kingdom; not many players in CK3 haven't done that. I found out you're one of the few people who have done that, which is very impressive. We need more content in your channel, for it is great to appreciate a different culture that is not European but mainly from Africa and Asia, for the fascinating histories used to have great civilizations, for instance, India is one of the world's countries with beautiful arts, cultures, and rich histories that vast empires with great societies that could rival ancient Rome and Greece. Next time, if you're doing a similar campaign, you should try using various advantages that could benefit a conquest campaign to take more lands without relying upon one regiment, for example, an elephant army. An elephant army is excellent for mountains and harsh terrains, but they won't be instrumental in other sieges and conquests in enemy counties. I'm no expert in CK3, and I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful. I'm trying to say that you can still use your elephant army but mix them up with the best of the best available options for this campaign and gain allies who have far superior numbers and highly trained soldiers and allied rulers in the Indian subcontinent have incredible wealth and power would secure yourself and your army sufficient enough to become a mighty army and allow vassals in the Scandinavian lands gain autonomy and forge an alliance with native rulers would secure allies that would want gain something return like trade or help them in their wars would make see as a valuable ally and why not learn their customs for you create a hybrid culture that would be very handy to rule a continent that is more tolerant other religions and traditions without having to worry about rebellions. But this is an excellent campaign, my friend; it was entertaining to watch, and I am bummed out it has ended, for it was so getting good. I have an idea similar to what you did if you're interested in hearing it and if not, that's okay. Again outstanding campaign, my friend. Keep up the great work, and no matter what anybody says, always stay true to your dreams and goals and reach for them in the sky. That is where the skies get the limit, and so do your dreams!
Fun Fact: There is an easter egg character in the King of Paramara's court in 1066 who is Swedish and Shaivite. I landed him and played as his dynasty in a RP series where his family decide to migrate back into their homelands leading to the Hindu conquest of Scandinavia (and pretty much most of Europe later)
Imagine poor Jarl. Received a message that some indian dude wanted to attack you. You gather best 8000 huscarls and you see 500 elephants disembarked :D
Imagine doing a cargo of all the elephants from south India in 10th century to a landlocked province in Finland just like that (I mean they spawn in 6 days)
I bought this game days ago and I am still exploring, its really fun so far! One question; how do I get my vassals to simmer down? My previous ruler was on good terms with literally everyone but her son now who has the throne has such a different character and everyone's revolting against me.
If you have money, the thoughtful perk can make any vassal love you from just sending gifts, but sometimes i just find it impossible to control them, so when a faction is about to fight find the main leaders capital, raise your troops right next to it just before they start a war you can often siege really fast and get a white peace on 30% war score
A good way is to marry your spares of to your strongest vassels and try to give land with people that have the content or humble traits never give land to ambitious or arrogant people.
I don't know if it would have been a good idea or not, but I kind of wish you hybridized with the Norse culture to unlock raiding. Not sure if the extra money from raids would offset the cost and risk of using your limited elephants, but the mental image of a bunch of elephants riding Viking longboats is VERY funny
picking one type of men at arms and boosting the shit out of it always works. Works best with Horse archers and/or heavy infantry. The mostly peasant AI armies don't stand a chance against 4000 heavy infantry where each regiment has 70-150 damage, depending on where you're at in the game and whether or not you have special heavy infantry units. Hell, you can even do it with knights pretty easily, though it takes a lot longer. Just make your culture extremely knight focused, religion prowess focused and build the Knight Effectiveness duchy buildings. It's pretty easy to get your knights to have like minimum 20 prowess at 400-500% effectiveness. It's essentially Space Marines where 20 knights stack wipe armies of 50k men in days.
What if the Marathas, under the Bhonsle Dynasty, unified the Indian continent, and one of the Bhonsle members married a Byzantine Princess? What would be very interesting if the Chhatrapati had become the new ER Emperor through his descendant of the previous Byzantine dynasty, and the goal was to reunify Rome, which a result of a Roman-Indo or Maratha-Roman Empire with Rome being restored with a new dynasty ruling the revived eternal empire. What do you think of this idea, Snap Strategy? Is it a challenge worth doing, including a story mode about it? Because it is exciting to see a story like this one.
