In a real zombie apocalypse you just need Lime. And Lime just needs something to trip up zombies. Give the man a low fence or a small table and you'll be all set.
It took a bit for me to get around to watching this video and I immediately realized two things in the first 5 minutes: 1. I like Lime's custom mouse. It's cute 2. Be it CDDA or Zomboid, I think I like the challenge videos a bit more if the character is one that Lime created rather than Generics. I was hoping to see Prison Trash here.
Considering your melee stats, you should have the "Brawling" style unlocked. There's no reason to not use it at all times until you get something better.
@@vismattress5760 Gameplay wise, it gives you some extra "abilities" such as feints, counters and (I think) knockback attacks. Setting wise, it just means your character is used to street fights, it means he's not some wimp.
@@AmishMinister Depends on what you want from them. Some focus more on defensive bonuses, some are more offensive. There's also styles for specific weapon types. This info is also available in-game.
its very nice that somebody still remembers this game. it has so much in common with the zomboid (i would say half of the mechanics is taken from CDDA). would like to see more content about it.
@@Pr1vateLime how about "not your day" challenge? or its too corny? I always struggled with the skyscraper challenge when you start at the top floor of the burning house, surrounded by zombies who can throw you off the window. i think its not as hard as the prison challenge, but more intense, as you can't settle down just on the spot.

I absolutely love you posting videos about cdda, there's not much people that creates actually entertaining videos about cataclysm, thank you so much that you exist.
You're probably not gonna take damage walking off a 1 zlevel drop unless you have a lot of encumbrance (You can just yeet your bag down first), and you can trigger a dialogue to climb down by 'e' ing some ledges.
I LOVE this start challenge. Its one of my favorite starts and I can always win this one pretty easily. Even did a start where I never left the island except by boat and designing a floating home and kept the waterways until I died.
If you are doing CDDA in the future do Innawood survival challenge whit dinomod on. I think Grungus Kaumolainen would be perfect to take that challenge!
hey! Was loving your PZ runs and challenges, big fan. I am _SO_ happy you are making a CDDA series. I want to get into the game but I need to see more gameplay to learn and understand it. Please keep this going, its super fun!
Fairly entertaining to watch. Only the great pipe mace got a buff, but they removed the ability to make that from the get-go, I wonder why... Jokes a side, using the mega tough zombies to break the armoury near the prisoners can get you goodies easily.
IDK if you want tips, but if you climb into where the huge boomer is, there is a zombie master who upgrades any zombies that he can see (for example, he can turn zombie brutes into hulks). If you can knock him out that is a HUGE occupational hazard out of the way.
Lime, my man, you are really good at this stuff. Your videos are very entertaining and make me want to replicate the kind of challenges you do and try it myself. You're great at putting together a narrative and a storyline Within These sandbox games.
Ooh I was wondering if Lime would return to this game! Very much looking forward to seeing more of the nitty gritty of the mechanics. 71 seems like a tough dude, I'll be rooting for him!
Might want to consider the UI elements you're referring to when doing zoom ins. If you don't play CDDA then you kind of have to rewind and pause the video to see what you're talking about at a given time.
@@Pr1vateLime if you have around athletics 5 you can just swim forever as well, very useful given your circumstances... that's how i did this challenge anyway
i don't really know this game well besides what you have shown us, but if you can fully clear this place, it seems like an amazing base, a island in general just seems like a amazing place to live if your enemy can't swim to you.
Hey! A Prison scenario; at least there's no BOWs like ones from Rockfort Prison facility. Judging from loot you picked up these former prison security units love their Sig Pistol and firearm brands... Luckily if possible you might get SIG AR.
Looks like one of the gutters is already smashed, it looks like it can go bad. lol I love this game, but I suck at playing it, so I never get to actually progress or do many cool things in it.

Hey Lime, just so you know the office area from your start had some office scissors in them. Not sure if they count as fabric cutting but should be worth a shot. Also make sure to open up the patrol kits to see what they contain. Happy to see you playing more CCDA. :D
