I have a pile of locomotives I need to get ready for a future video. They are all Märklin DB Class 120 (BR 120) from the 1980s/1990s.
As there was too much to cover, this has become a 2 part series. In this episode we'll look at servicing steps in detail (popular request...), and we'll use the Märklin 3153 for this. We'll cover:
- Visual inspection
- Taking the locomotive apart
- Cleaning the motor
- Swapping traction tires
- Lubrication
- Testing and adjusting the reverser
