New drone laws coming into effect in Thailand, (I just did a video on the drone laws change based on the Bangkok Post article) many are likely to be in place before the ceremonies surrounding the cremation of the former King. I find AirMap to have not only the regular restricted zones shown on Mavic, but they also list temporary restrictions such as a Royal Family visit to one of the Royal Retreats or projects. I've flown Mavic drones in Thailand for over 6 months with no real issues arising. The most severe restrictions coming are aimed at drones larger than 2 kilos (4.4 pounds) It appears the new laws will require larger drones register every flight. I also applied for Thai Registration as a drone operator hoping I would receive some official looking document to carry in case any problem arose. The link to the registration site is on my vid description. They said it would take 3 days to complete the registration but at 5 days, I haven't heard from them, yet (Transport Ministry.) I do have video of the DJI shop in BKK flying my drone downtown. Best regardz!
hi, depends on the airline. with Emirates the drone goes with yout suitcase. but the batteries you have to take as handluggage. I have used the original grey box to store it in my suitcase.
