On drop rate is a series about obtaining a specific unique item from any source in old school runescape, but I can only attempt said activity as many times as said items exact drop rate.
In this episode i take on the the challenge of killing 5000 lizardman shamans to hopefully... obtain a dragon warhammer.

I know this series has been going on for a few good months but if you fail a challenge, you should make a extra rule where you are allowed to attempt to redeem yourself by doing 1 inventory of bossing on the boss you failed on, either once a day/week or maybe like once a stream etc. It would make for a great redemption arc.

Congratulations! I ended up 2178 kc with it, 3 curved bones 2 rune spears and multiple d med helms plus range cape lol. Helped me finish up my poh back in the day. It helped so much. Ps. 330 ish clues and no ranger boots lolol

I think mith dragons would be a good one going for the drag full helm. Doing both the direct kill count drop rate & also with chewed bones. Would be interesting!

They are enabled on runelite under “ground items” , download runelite through the runescape website if you’re going to use it to get the right version! 😄

On these long prayer intensive grinds I’d recommend bringing a bone crusher where you can. You don’t even have to equip to get the prayer restore effect. Enjoy the content man

FYI, You aren't expected to get anything within the drop rate. The odds of receiving a Dragon Warhammer within 5000 kills, assuming a droprate of 1:5000 is about 63%. So it is very realistic to NOT get it within the droprate. In fact, this 63% figure is the chance of receiving any item within a droprate. Even for instance items with a 1:100 rate. Calculate by doing the following: 1 - ((4999 / 5000) ^ 5000)

I may be late with this comment, and I don't want to brag, but I got 2 d warhammers in 1 slayer task. In fact I got the second one about 5-10 minutes after the first. Total kills around 450 I don't think I've ever been that lucky before, except getting an abyssal dagger from an abyssal demon

Zulrah scales, dart, prayer potions, cannonballs, ranging pots, stamina pots, antidotes and some food mostly, not an exact number of 23m but an estimation

I'm only saying this because you still mention it in your newer videos. But I think your kinda confused about the probability table. Just because you get a more rare drop before your desired item...doesn't mean a thing. At all. It's all rng. All based on luck. U can literally get a 1 in 3000 drop that's not the item your looking for, then get it the next time. Very rare. But that's how it works. 🤷 You get a roll per kill. Could be anything. There are some monsters who have a pre roll table but it works the same way so
