Most of the time I spend in PvP (which I don't play very often) is in Comp and generally have a pretty good time. Recently hit Plat for the first time to get glorious which I'm pretty proud of. I don't know what necessarily happened to trials, but I feel like I can't play it with friends if I don't wanna get stomped, so I'd doesn't real feel like much of an option for me who generally plays just to have a good time with friends

Solo queuing comp vs. going in as a duo/trio is a whole ass different game. Fireteam vs. Fireteam Countdown: Rush however is some of the most fun I've had in pvp in awhile though.

Watching these sort of comp grind videos inspire me to play comp and grind for a good belisarius...but then I remember I live in Australia, and try as I might, it is almost impossible to ever find a comp game.

To get to a high rank in comp you have to be able to consistently solo the other team and never die cuz 9/10 times if you die once you’re teamates have already used up all your teams lives by that point

For me comp is not enjoyable. I have a 2,1 kd overall and a 3,89 kda this season and even in my placement matches, i have to play against ascendant players constantly. I can't understand why this playlist is sbmm and not rank based matchmaking. I am good in pvp got like 100 flawless in the past years but comp is just unplayable for me. And 9 out of 10 games i get teammates that are so absurdly bad that i have to quite the game after 1 round cause those people didnt even deserve to be carried by my ass.

They need to add forgiveness for team member leaving and heavier penalties for repeated quitting - even if disconnected.

I hate competitive… it’s the worst game mode in the game (loads into comp for the thousandth time)

The most frustrating part of playing comp is being matched against an Ascendant player and having 2 silvers in your team. You know there is no hope since sec one and you still have to “play”

The shoving part at 8:40 happens to me so often and it’s so frustrating when it happens

I really like playing comp but I have an intense hatred for countdown:rush so I never touch the comp playlist

I started playing a few months ago and i recently got into comp as well. i hit plat 3 pretty easily and the players throwing leads like you mentioned has kept me from even queuing up lately. so many times you are up 2 respawns and your teammates insist on sprinting towards the enemy spawn with 15 seconds to go

Comp and trials have taught me two things: 1. A lot! of players overestimate their skills because of inflated KDs. 2. A lot of players are not smart, to put it nicely.

I played 4k hours of Apex and Call of Duty since 2012, Destiny 2 PVP is way too much of a camper fest for me. It's worse than COD. I play for fun, I stick with my mates but god, my fingers are tingeling to just flank the enemy team. If only it didn't take me a bazillion shots to down one single player... I have no idea what's going in in this game xD People slide into me with a shotgun, I'm dead. I use the same shotgun, takes me at least 2-3 shots to kill them

Comp has such a low player base, it's not worth waiting 10-15 mins for a match. Until pvp is enjoyable for casual, average and slightly above average players it will continue to be a small pool. Also the amount of time required to get decent rewards is skewed. Does anyone work for free irl? Of course not. Rewards should reflect time invested.

I am bad at PvP and worse at comp, but even I know to disengage with life advantage and time running out. It's not that hard of a concept. Run away and take the W. Maybe it's because that I know I'm bad that the instinct to run is so strong, but it's seriously annoying to see teammates rush in, only to watch life advantage vanish.
