Only one doubt... Beam width is bigger than column width... Will it be safe to carry load... 700 x 500 - Beam size... 400 x 400 - Column Size... 500 sits on 400... Will column show heavy buckling when 50mm on either sides of the beam projected outwards...
Thanks for your work sir. What would be the foundation column and plinth beam design for garage with a master suite above using these beams as floor beams?
For G+2 building, 7.5 x 7.5 m grid system , central columns will have minimum 2200 km reaction.(Live load 3kn,DL 1.5, seismic zone iv) So min.size column 600x600 mm Beam 450x450 will be more than enough....
On existing Third floor terrace floor Column size has 450mm x 230mm Total 8 column Total three galas Each gala has, columm to column span is 12'8" x 18' ( note : this dimensions are not measured from the centre to center of the column ) All 10 beams has width 6" and depth 24" We are willing to increase one more slab i.e. fourth floor slab this would be our last slab With same all dimensions as above third floor have except beams. Beams would have width 9" and depth 12" on fourth floor So would it work out ????? Can this transfer load properly Waiting for your response
Just work through one example as per the regulation. You can talk about variations after. You keep dotting around from this to that which makes it confusing.
Please, in G+1, what about using 4x16mm bar, in a col. size of 225x225mm between a span of 6200mm and dept of beam 450mm with bar 5x16mm. Can it carry?
Dear kindly tell the height of ceiling, because trends ate are shifting , what if i want the ceiling height to be 25 feet, can the same formulae be used there as well ? thanks
Thanks So Much, is there any calculation if the store increase? Example if the building 3 store same calculation or footage and column and beam will increase is it, do we have any formula for that
Kindly put design of 9.40mtr Spain for slab beam as well as how to fing steel in beam col and slab kindly explain with clearity I mean 4% area of col we how much steel we can used in col.
(1) in ground coloum size 9 by 15, there is 6 no of bar 12 mm bar on corner and middle 10 mm bar, in first floor I want to put more steel, like all 6 no of bar 12 mm, can I do it,. (2) we have 35 feet span of two columns, what beam should be design , please answer immediately
Sir plz tell us how we can know which size of bar use in beam or column and also formula for it to calculate the size of bar for different kind of spans
I have 30x45 plot , want to construct G+2 , Standard Column size in my city for the mentioned plot size is 6"wx18"d, Can I calculate Beam Size on the basis of mentioned column size for the distance b/w column i.e 12 ft , 16 ft , max 18 ft. Thanks in Advance
Dear sir, what should be the reinforcement in beam for 25 feet long beam for 3 storied building and is it necessary to provide side face reinforcement in beam..???
@@youngindia9046 Yes I got it...it depends on structural loads and others but generally what is appropriate...range...I have the same case 25 feet spacing between columns. I gave 450x600 beam with 6 through 20 mm dia bars at bottom and 3-20 Th at top with 3-20 as curtailed bar...is it okey...in general sense...??
