Can I Keep the Scammers On the Phone Longer if They Think I've Been Scammed Before? 

I receive scam phone calls every day. While my improv skills are weak… actually, I think my improv skills were just fine this time around.
I had another call prior to this one in which I was told my credit card number had been stolen and was being used by someone in New York. My call recording app failed to capture it, but it was a great reference point with which to play with these scammers.
In this call, I make them think I've been a victim of the fake credit card fraud alert before and give them a fake credit card number (while making them work for it). Over eight minutes of their time wasted. For me, that's pretty good.
