Hey Romell, although it wasn’t a kickflip you actually did a heelflip, to learn that in under 24 hours is incredible, been skating for over 15 years and I don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone even attempting that so quickly, stick with it, learn the basics and you’ll really enjoy it

heel flips aren’t necessarily harder than kickflips, some people actually tend to learn them before kickflips because it works out better earlier 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Did nobody pick up on the fact this man has just learnt to switch heelflip for his first trick. He was riding goofy but learnt ollie and heelflip in regular. Big respect bro. I’ve been skating for 2 years and I can’t switch heel. I hope to see more progress uploaded from the board 🤟🤟
Damn man that's so impressive to watch someone who couldn't even stand on a board to landing a heelflip in just 24 hours - obviously it's not a kickflip but remember we're talking about a complete novice here, someone who thinks mongo is a stance and not a style of pushing - big respect to you man, your happiness when landing it is the reason skaters do the sport and it was honestly so sick to see. This is the joy of skateboarding. You just kicked a board about your garden for hours but, when you landed that one flip, you could see the pure joy in your face. You need to learn to drop in next. That would be an awesome video.

@@romellhenrytgf tip is to exaggerate everything when your first starting. E.g. pop slide on the board, flicking etc. When you’re a beginner you tend to hold back bc of fear of the unknown. This tip REALLY helped me progress when my homie told me, was revolutionary ahahahahah
this version of Romell is brilliant! You did better than me considering the last time I skated I was 11 and I broke my nose, jaw and got a hairline fracture in my skull and never tried again because of the fear. if you do a whole series of learning to skate and bike (downhill or bmx) I would be so happy! Not sure about anyone else.
The first and last time I tried an Ollie the board went to the left and I stayed in place but my body went to the right on itself. I became planet earth all of a sudden. Revolving not only on myself but around the sun. It was beautiful.
I actually love this video mate. Used to skate all the time but gave it up after breaking my actual shin and tearing a few muscles badly. I can walk and do everything fine now along as I rest it. But this has actually made me want to pick it up again. 5 years later :)

Bro landed a heelflip instead of a kickflip but its still a flip trick and the fact he learned it in a days is crazy it took me a year just to kickflip and ive never heelflipped and im giving all my respect to romell for this
mongo is just a comfortability preference when pushing but there is only two stances in skateboarding. 1. Regular which is left foot forward with back foot on the tail and Goofy which is right foot forward and left foot on the back tail.

The fact that he was going for a kick flip but instead landed a heel flip is insane to me 😂 heels are harder than kicks imo so the fact he’s done it in less than a day is mad 😂
Try to flick OUT rather than downwards, as well as aim for the tip of the nose, think of it as if there’s a little box behind the nose that you have to kick through.
Im not gonna lie this really incouraged me to learn how to skateboard, I have alwwasy wanted to and i have a board i just get so scared and i doubt myself too much so i end up not doing it and i get insecure about my weight aswell but ive wanted to skateboard ever since i was little so i hope i dont focus on my hear and just start going on the board because i dont want to let my fear control me
