Claudia. Lol that’s a shitty take. I know rich people who are miserable arseholes and poor people who are joyous and kind. More than the opposite, for sure.
I doubt she’s been a millionaire until relatively recently. Google says she’s worth about $6m (although I’m not sure if that’s her career earnings, or what she has in the bank etc). I’d assume the bulk of her money was earned in the last few years as her film career took off. She’s always seemed very personable and down to earth right from back when she was a tv actress.
Can't wait to see more interviews with Dakota, Olivia and Jessie. From this clip, Dakota and Olivia's different personalities seem to play well with each other. Thanks Jake for another enjoyable interview.
I don't know what you mean by a regular job but I work as a programmer and I'm definitely allowed to take time off if I'm not feeling well, but this is a job you can do that's not really time critical. There's not a set booked with a ton of other people that can't do their work without me. Varies from job to job but there are definitely a ton of jobs where you can do that. Some companies even give people mental health days that they can take whenever they want (unpaid but that's to be expected) and stuff like that, separate to your annual leave balance. Obviously if you're rostered on for work in a bar where if you call in sick there's only one on the bar instead of two then it's a different story, your boss in that scenario isn't going to say "Oh yeah cool no worries".
Gosh, Olivia and Dakota just make me smile all the time. They have such warm energy. Jake, well done with the questions. AGAIN. You are THE BEST interviewer ever!
I have yet to see an interaction between Olivia Coleman and literally any other actor she's worked with, where it isn't abundantly obvious that they are smitten with her. Just look at Emma Stone's reaction when Olivia won the oscar, girl was more excited about that than when she won one herself lol.
I think it depends on each individuals preference. I’m not famous but I don’t want photos with anyone at anytime 😆 I love Olivia’s comment about why does everything have to be photographed… I love that!
@@JuiceMyRandomness i hate pictures period. If I was in their position, I would still hate it. As person above mentioned, I’m sure it’s personal preference not so much related to disgust for me.
Well Olivia and Dakota have just said they don't welcome too much intrusion, and that's enough for me. Just be as polite and gentle as you would with any other person you meet.
Jesus, were you trying to out-terrible him with that awful advice? How about telling him to engage with the actual themes of the bloody material? Which were about motherhood and guilt and expectations on women and looking back on life’s choices, and had _nothing_ to do with privacy or celebrity culture. A bit of basic research would make his enthusiasm more genuine.
@@PurushaDesa Well said. (I know nothing about the film, so what struck me was his falling all over himself. I often wonder WHY certain people get jobs interviewing, when they cannot get out of their own way. But your point is more salient).
@@andreaandrea6716 I really enjoyed the film and I recommend it. Very unsettling, tense atmosphere with taut direction from Maggie Gyllenhaal. The third performer to look out for is Jessie Buckley who is just fantastic as the young Olivia Colman.
@@PurushaDesa Oh! Thanks for the recommendation. I would see Olivia Coleman in just about ANYTHING, she is that good. Jessie Buckley; I'll take note of her name. (I was just realizing that I know NO ONE who is new/young! Time to begin watching more films).
