In this video I challenge myself to see if I can make a full terrain board's worth of wargaming terrain in 24 hours. You've seen people (like Gooobertown Hobbies) paint armies in 24 hours but can you make wargaming terrain in 24 hours? Well in this video I try and find out!

These times builds are always fun to watch. I wouldn't fault you if you paused the time while talking to the camera.

On this one I let the timer roll even when eating, setting up the camera etc. I know people wouldn't mind so maybe I will in future to make bigger things

I do seem to like putting myself in these positions. I think it's trying to show what you can achieve in a normal amount of time by showing what you can do when rushing! Maybe! Thanks

I would not show me injuring myself without warning at least, and most of the time I am cutting away from my hands, considering the amount of terrain I make I rarely injure myself :)

Year late to the party, but I gotta say, I super appreciate that you actually split the 24 hours into two days instead of going at it in one go. Staying up for 24 hours straight might be more sensational and get more of the clicks and views, but it ultimately does more harm than good to your productivity. This is a challenge that's actually applicable for us mere mortals; namely, it shows us strategies to get a good looking table done and ready in a short, comprehensible period. You could easily get this done in a weekend, whereas staying up 24 hours straight would murder your drive and throw off your sleep schedule for days, if not weeks.

Yeah, there's quite a few imperfections and stuff but on the table as a whole, it just looks like an okay table, so quite happy.

@@TerrainMadeEasy I keep wanting to ask you something. What exactly is EPVC? I keep trying to find it here but no one has a clue when I ask them and also google didn't help me in this case. Can you tell me where is that material used (other than basing of course)? And, since you mentioned the England game... Any thoughts about tomorrow's match against ze Germans? :D

@@mikibabic8187 In The US, I believe it might be called Sintra, also called Foamex. It is basically a softish plastic you can cut easily. Proper sign board companies use the stuff (if they don't use foamboard). So maybe google sign making plastic or something. England has some great players but not many are showing spark and quality so a bit of a dud right now but we were consistent mostly. Germany I sort of feel the same except a bit inconsistent, neither side really stands out to me, and I just hope for a good game, I'd like england to win obviously but I don't get into it as much as most.

heh thanks, a couple of things I didn't mention, they were very wobbly at the top, I did put a bit of a pva layer at the top, just rushed and spread out with my finger. I also put a little broken bit of cocktail stick up through the top of the windows. But frankly I am not sure ither of those things helped, they are reasonably fragile :)

I may have seen pics of it on reddit, I think maybe I asked about your ground. If not I just subbed anyway and had a quick look. But it's a different kind of board, mine is basic and rushed stuff, yours is actually nice and good! Not comparable really :)

The ruins and trees look good, the hills are a bit oldschool, but still, its an amazing job! I built approx. the same amount of terrain in a year...

I couldn't think of a quicker way for the hills, maybe scrapping technique but I am not convinced it would be quicker. I think sometimes simplicity helps speed! I didn't mean to make people feel bad on how quickly people do stuff, to be fair 24 hours is a chunk of time!

Honestly I spent way longer than what is shown talking to camera but edited a chunk out, and I spent awhile moving camera, filming etc. It is what it is, I could go quicker with not filming but I am happy :) Thank you

Here in Germany, brown bins are only for biological waste, like vegetables and stuff, not for XPS foam.
