Amazing video! I will definitely be giving this a try! I love how you laid out the whole process, and on a budget! Very curious of this will work for my master chief visor!
Thanks! One thing I changed lately in the process is how I apply the mirror paint layer to the visor. Instead of using a spray can I started using an aerograph. It gives me much more precision. With a spray can it was always quite random and you needed to get lucky a bit.
Cieszę się że video komuś się przydało! :) Dla mnie najfajniejsza część zabawy z cosplayem to właśnie opracowywanie i dokumentowanie procesu tworzenia.
was the one you bought able to make this visor? im in the process making this helmet atm and i only need to visor to be made now but not sure on what size sheets or vacuum former i need
Printing just a shallow shell of the buck would require supports anyway during the printing. It doesn't take that much more time to just print a whole buck as it is and it takes one extra step out of the workflow. 3D printing the whole thing also allows me to design the airtubes to get the plastic to better conform to the creases.
