Matt, Im a new subscriber and a new R7 owner. I shoot commercially for holiday businesses so it's a real hybrid workflow. I really love your style and im loving what you do. Could you let me know what lenses you used for this shoot - as I've never shot a product - food - but not products like this and I am always looking to grow what I do and challenge myself! Hey, thanks for the sub, I hit ya back (really dig the Stranger Things banner!) My go-to working with products in the box is the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS (my holidays are in landscapes so I get double benefit from that lens), but to get the wider footage for this video, I swapped my rig up, and had the Canon EOS R on the product with the EF 50mm f/1.8, which is usually the gear filming me 😂NORMALLY, the R7 with the 16-35 is my preference to work right in front of the product box and get smooth IBIS-and-lens stabilized footage with 10-bit CLOG3 and lots of 4k options.

@@MattRamseyTube Hey Matt, I really appreciate it. My channel is full of really old stuff and I should really find the time to vlog again. I just spend all my time on client stuff as I made it my full time job. I have both of these lenses, im coming from the M50 so the R7 is blowing me away, I also have the tank of a 7D - i cant quite bring myself to trade them in, haha. I haven't used R7 on a paid job yet as Im in an editing and meeting phase....hoping to go away next week for a client shoot and i will be flexing that super fine 4k for sure. You deserve more subscribers my friend. Ill be delving deeper into your vlogs to catch up! J

im coming up on my 3 yr anniversary! And ive used the M50 for that, and I've made some awesome content with it -Ii feel like I should maybe make a video about that journey, along the lines of - the best gear is the camera you have right now?I'vee been stunned with the m50 over the years especially some of the results with a bit of Helios vintage action - I think I might just keep my m50 for street and backup shenanigans as its earnt its shelf space alright.
