Love the videos. Two things that come to mind as I watch this that you might be able to share with others out there. I went to Bates Technical College in Tacoma for the carpentry day trades program right out of high school in the early 2000’s. My instructor was a sometimes grouchy old carpenter who journeyed out in 1967, so there was a lot of experience there available for me to soak up. A couple things that I will never forget and came to mind as I watched the video… measure twice cut once… Joe always said that’s forgetting the most important part.. think first, measure twice and cut once lol. The other thing. You always spend the time to get it right. One of joes other sayings I always remember and catch myself on is “if you don’t have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to have time to come back and do it again”. I know that’s not the first time that’s been said lol, but the first time I heard it was from him. Watching this video made me think of these two things and thought maybe you could pass those two things on to viewers that might not have ever heard them.

A good tool to invest in would be a "jamb saw" for things like this, which is essentially a circular saw that lays flat on the floor, for cutting jambs. (I know, I know) They are great for things like this. I have even trimmed the base, case and jambs in an entire room(for hardwood) without having to remove it...

Husky back in the day were great saws, as long as you kept them maintained they'd run for years and years. My Dad bought one and it was the only chainsaw he had for many years, and he used it for some heavy work too. But I bought a new Husky back about 10 years ago, had nothing but problems right from the get go. Dealer wouldn't do anything about it. It burned up several bars because it wouldn't pump enough oil, and it also had issues with it running and not having enough power. Would bog down far to easily and etc. Ended up rebuilding a Stihl 048 and used that for several years, and still use it to this day. Runs great. But eventually I came back to the husky. Found out online in a forum, that the oiler from this saw could be upgraded to an oiler that was actually made for a much larger husky saw, which you could also adjust the flow rate. So I bought the new oiler and other required parts, upgrade the saw and it finally had the proper amount of bar oil actually making it out to the bar and chain. Can't remember what else I done, but I think I ended up buying a new carb and exhaust? But eventually got it running good and such. But just a whole lot of hassle, time, and extra money that I shouldn't have had to spend. I still have it, and use it when needed. But besides my bigger Stihl 048 which is a powerful saw for most of the stuff I cut. I usually run a 20" bar, but it will run a 36" bar easy and out performed my cousins brand new Stihl 440 Magnum when he brought it over one time to help take down this huge old oak tree. But that 048 also gets heavy after a while, especially when doing lighter work. So I later bought a brand new small Stihl saw from my local Stihl dealer _(I forget the model number)_ with the "quick start" feature which I was skeptical of at first, but its been a great little saw. Really useful for cutting small trees, branches, and other light work.
