Usually. If it's too hot, the engine won't preform as good and the track will be too slow on the straights. It's a balancing act of cool air and warm track.

My brother in law lives in Michigan now retired and getting up there in age. Covered race car racing for free. He would get best seats with the press. He was a writer for their magazine. He would also, cover the Indy race. He would go to OHIO alot as a race car instructor so he could get track time for FRee! I know you know that you know what you are doing wrong and know what you need to do to fix it. But I was wanting to know if you could take a few private lesson to help you get over/the situations...Like recreate these situations and fixing the situation. Maybe putting you in situations where you are going to get hit alot until they teach you HOW to be more aggressive....You know what you are dong wrong. Think a instructor could show you or tell you what to do. I think you are a great driver no doubt. I am thinking a instructor could help you tweak out problems fine tune you. We have a BIG go cart race not far from in Rock Island ILLINOIS. once a year. Have to google information. But i am thinking you have to have your own go cart for this. The kart will end up being fixed, if it isn't already. I just got unlucky today. I'm getting a good grasp on how to drive these karts at the limit which is nice. I've thought about coaching and lessons for my racing, both sim and real, for a while now. It's definitely something that would help me greatly.
