@@pfoxhound You ROCK! It would be a lot of work to get these cars filthy and then clean them as a prank. I think people bring him these cars because they are so busy and do not have time to actually keep them clean. In some cases, he would have to retain a stash of dozens of fast food containers and garbage. No one does that. LOL

Hello Mitch'! I've been watching your content for three years now respectfully, recently my grandfather had passed away unfortunately and with me watching your videos, it gave me motivation to clean up his old van which is a Škoda Roomster, a very rugged little workhorse. Needless to say it was hard to vacuum out the carpets (Škoda is owned by Volkswagen coincidentally) as they were unfortunately really cheap velcro material that you mentioned!

I for one love the real time speed cuz it let's me know how fast you're actually moving I did the drill brush technique on my sister's rugs as they were absolutely filthy and I just hope I was moving at the perfect cleaning speed so I will definitely check out the 2nd channel. BTW watching these videos makes me want to do this as well cleaning out my sister's car was definitely a challenge but it made me think of this channel it was also a nice time spent with my dad as he helped with the cleaning 😊

Good Morning Mitch, at first I thought since the Passat was not filled to the windows with garbage and discarded food, this detail might be a bit subdued. The inside of this VW was as filthy as others you have done, all that mud in the bucket pour!! I really enjoy the mix of your narration and the natural sounds of the vacuum and the power washer. For carpets, I have used a pet deshedding brush, the one with the many bent wires, in combo with the vacuum. It stands up the matted fibers. Much elbow grease required though, but works quite well.

in the first stage using a tfr, citrus pre wash or even letting snow foam dwell on the car for 5-10 minutes before going at it with the pressure washer will make a massive difference, breaking down a lot of the dirt and softening it up

He never does this... it's a joke. Should be a common practice for any professional detailer, he's quite literally grinding the dirt into the paint with each pass of the pressure washer.... his delusioned fans don't even seem to notice. They just see what they think is clean

@@jh.f30 literally. My 220d was quite dirty so took it to a jet wash bay today. Covered it in autobrites citrus pre wash and left it for a bit then blasted it off. It’s better but by no means perfect, loads better than just the pressure washer. If I was giving it a proper wash and not a quick contactless wash it’d have been snow foamed and rinsed off then got another application before starting to wash. Not just a quick blast then attack the car with foam and a wash mitt

@sammilburn445 I do rinseless washes mostly on my personal vehicle, cause it only ever has dust etc( car page @jh.f30), but when I do a traditional wash on my vehicle or a customer's, I Pre Foam to emulsify the dirt, let it dwell, rinse, then foam again for more lubrication while Hand washing. Makes no sense as to why he doesn't do it, haven't watched much of his videos but everything else seems legit enough

I used an orbital sander with no paper lol, I won’t say it worked any better but I was able to get all the dirt moved to the center where I could just vacuum it up all at once instead of having to scrub the carpet. To each their own.

I watch all your videos. One thing I notice with many detailers is the lack of time spent on the kick panels of carpet where the feet touch a lot. This car had floor mats and the majority of the floor was relatively clean but the sides not so much. My 2 cents.

Phillip Cleveland, Ohio Here's a good question. Actually 2 good questions. #1: what do you normally do with strange items like that, like the emergency ketchup stash? Do you throw it away, or do you keep it for the customer or...??? #2: I know when you find money, you always keep it and give it back to the customer at the end of the detail. BUT... Do you wash it if the coins are sticky and grimy coins? Like put it in a bucket of warm water and let it sit for a while? Do you know what I mean? I just thought of these questions, cuz I watch your channel all the time. And I've never heard of anyone asking these types of questions. P.S. I really like your work, always doing a great job. Great job with demystifying the vacuuming technique of using a massager to vibrate the carpet dirt up supposedly better than a normal vacuum. Anyway, question: do you use hydrogen peroxide on stains like blood or bleach on white carpet or upholstery for cleaning?? Thanks. Keep up the good work.

Have you ever given thought to the mat hangers mounted on a wall? They clamp the mats so they can be sprayed. I see you have no problem spraying them on the floor of your garage.

I love these Passats. I’ve owned a handful of vw’s. The last of the old Volkswagen era. I had a 13 Passat tdi and a 13 Jetta hybrid and Now I have a 16 golf wagon but I will say I miss the crayon smell of my Passat. ❤

6:20 how many times did you have to spray and scrub the tires before they were cleaned? The foam was white. And how long does it usually take to do a full detail of the vehicles? few hours? days?
