An Austrian campaign in 1691 might be interesting, they are engaged in two wars: one against the Ottomans and the other against France

im looking at the wikipedia of this war and we start of with pope france hre spain and ferrara against venice then we go to 1510 where pope joins venice and spain and the hre left the war and then to 1511 where spain and the hre joined venice and the pope against france last but not least venice joined france while pope spain and the hre are still fighting them but also on that side joins england miland and switserland wtf are irl wars

Kinda funny that the way forts work in Eu4 makes so its impossible to recreate the venetian strategy of hiding before the fort in Padova, which is useless in the game because of grasslands and doesnt even exist even though it was the main cornerstone of venetian defense. For the later phases of the italian wars.

Hi Zlewikk. Really like the concept of saving historical disasters in EU4. Have couple of suggestions if you are interested in "saving" historical disasters and playing outside of Europe. Both suggestions are for the Maratha Empire with 2 different time periods: 1. Year 1674: Establishment of the Maratha Kingdom under the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji (A chad 4/5/5 starting ruler). This is similar to Byzantium in 1444 with Mughals at the north who will go through a decline in a few decades and the Europeans powers have some territories in the subcontinent. You can try forming Bharat and then go for "The Sun never sets on the Indian Empire" acheivement. 2. Year 1817: Anglo - Maratha War. This war lead to the defeat of the Marathas and eventual consolidation of British colonial rule over the vast majority of the sub-continent. Both could be fun challenges in their unique ways

I really appreciate your effort, although still need discipline adviser and high siege general. Your reinforce tactic is great and the marching plan is brilliant. Tough historical start.

I wish EU4 /EUV had a more dynamic war system like being able to switch sides as happened in this war. But I don’t see how it would work in a videogame.

Ah yes, the great strategy of traping the entire enemy's army with navy, I did this a few days ago in a game as Portugal when I trapped 35k castillians in north Africa (I noticed they were there helping some marrocan vassals get their independence and declared the war)

Next time (or one day) could you save Milan or the pope from the french and their allies (Venitians, Savoyards and other minor states) during the Marignan battle ? (Francis's the first offensive, not the one with the whole holy league)

I suggest: Spain in the so called 80 years war, dutch revolt and french hegemony in the rise with richelieu, also last tercio battle happened in these years and spain was no longer an hegemon in europe
