One thing I learned far too long after having my son was that your actual ribs can flare out so even if you lose weight you might be a literal different shape. I’m only 5’1, so my baby didn’t have a lot of room to grow ‘upwards’ and I definitely have this flared rib issue. It’s definitely about accepting your body changes and dressing for your new body. Don’t beat yourself up for not losing enough weight, as I did for too many years!

Figuring out my "color season" using Pinterest and tik Tok really helped me focus more on the colors that compliment vs clash with my eye color, skin tone, etc.

The bit about wearing an outfit because it makes you happy, instead of focusing on optimising how your body looks really got to me. I used to really love fashion but have felt myself shying away from taking risks as well as my body shaped changed over the years. I'm definitely going to be trying this out and putting together more outfits that I like soon!

I def lost my style just during the pandemic. Bc now everything I have has to be so much comfier, and I don’t go out as much in general. Not a mom but I work w kids so I also need the mobility. It’s a weird time to have personal style lol

I also love color - both how it looks and how it makes me feel - but don't usually see that reflected by most style influencers these days. Jess I LOVED this video and really resonate with what you've shared around styling. I work from home now and noticed since the pandemic I just put way less effort into what I wear (despite the fact it makes me feel good). I've been doing a similar thing of planning my outfits the night before and experimenting but realised I definitely need to start prioritising comfort. Would love to see more videos on this xx

Ah I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I agree I think the pandemic played a huge role for me, too. Comfort is one of those things, I'd rather consider aesthetics over it but I just know I don't reach for anything I find uncomfortable in my wardrobe. Will definitely do more! xx

You’ve made me realise why I’m so hesitant to wear black even though I love it. If I wear black it has to fit perfectly. I also believe colour is more forgiving, clothing doesn’t have to fit so perfectly because of it and it does most of the heavy lifting in an outfit which is why I gravitate towards it.

😊 I recall from your previous fashion videos that your favourite colour is turquoise which is an autumn colour and it really suits you so I wonder if you’re an autumn like me 🤔I know what you mean about favourite colours it’s best to treat colour analysis as a guide although I’ve found from personal experience I choose the the autumn colours now because I see how much brighter I look wearing them. Glad you’re doing more fashion content 😊

I am completely ready to admit sth looks good even when it's entirely not my style but not a single look was either cool nor flattering imo. and if you're this conventionally attractive, thin, young and filthy rich as demonstrated by her mum's built-in wardrobes filled to the brim with designer clothes, there's really no excuse for this tbh. especially for sb who Has shown to have an eye for fashion in the past and who is literally trying to be a fashion influencer of sorts.
