I think one of the most frustrating things for me is just how much we do not talk about Jesus. It is something that I came to when speaking to teens in church a while back and the more I spoke about Jesus, His resurrection, His victory over the grave, His Ascension, His taking of our sin, His Great commission, etc, the more the young people were prepared to now speak about their life struggles. But it is like it is all about God now. Nothing about His son. And I think, I could be wrong, the reason why there is so much confusion about sex, about worship, about marriage, about money....is because we have not introduced people to the Great Rabbi. So nowadays I see Christian teachers talk about sex WITHOUT talking about marriage. We talk about money and wealth WITHOUT talking about work. We talk about worship WITHOUT talking about holiness; a worship coextensive with life. Why is this? Because we have found a way to talk about God and trusting God and worship God WITHOUT talking about Jesus. Jesus is the context by which God must be spoken about, colossians God is pleased that all of Him should be in Jesus. Hebrews God has spoken to us by His son. Philippians God has given Jesus a name above every name that at the name of Jesus..... Even Adam heard the voice of God walking in the garden. Without ears, there is no sound of music. Without eyes, the beauty of flowers and color is but deep darkness. Without Jesus, there is no God for us. For He came so that we may hear God, see God, know God,......oh taste and see..... Jesus, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, MIGHTY GOD
