Love your upcycle videos, you get so creative and always seem to have bags of fun! Really inspires me to hunt around and find something in the house to give new life to! My actual jewellery box is looking a bit worse for wear, so maybe this is a sign to do something with it 👀💜✨🌈
Steve, do you ever have trouble with not knowing what to do with your wonderful creations? I don't feel my own creations are good enough to sell, but I love giving the items as gifts, but now my family and friends who have patiently endured years and years of accepting my creations, now say they can't accept any more as they really have no more room in their homes! So what can I do with the things I create now? Any advice would be gratefully accepted. Thank you Steve, and thank you anyone else who offers ideas. Have a great week everyone!
Take to a senior center. Offer to non-profits as door prizes or silent aution items. Rest homes or nursing homes would be glad to have hand made items for residents. I once took half a dozen crocheted lap blankets to the senior citizens center during lunch time. When I came out about 10 minutes later, every one was gone! I've donated to the volunteer fire dept and volunteer ambulance fund raisers, too.
@tinalewis4042 Volunteer fire and ambulance departments. My library displays theirs, and chilly people use them! A crocheter's delight. I also gave a bunch of baby blankets to Planned Parenthood, The Christmas Giving Tree got a lot of blankets and afghans one year, too. A fellow crocheter made a lot and donated them to Headstart for the kids to use at naptime.
