I love how Isabelle is the only villager who chooses not to actively insult Failboat at every possible turn. That sanity was a welcome contrast to the people in this town!
Tangy acting like a biblically accurate angel by saying "YOU WILL FIND THE WRATH OF A CITRUS SCORNED" has me imagining something; a strange amalgam of Tears of the Kingdom & New Horizons, with Tangy as the Demon Queen of Citrus Fruits.
I'm imagining an amalgam of Kirby 64, Kirby Star Allies, Pokemon S/M, (with a bit of S/V mixed in), and Earthbound with Tangy being some sort of Goddess of destruction (basically a fusion of Tangy, Void Termina, Zero Two, the jellyfish thing Lusamine fused with, Giygas, and an AI made by Faiboat).
Strangely enough, the dialogue in this AI-themed edit feels naturally written, even though they were all played in text-to-speech. So far, my favourite line is Francine saying “I’m priceless, not cheap, karat!”
Also, I just realised that Failboat used Danganronpa music at 5:03. The track is titled “Monokuma’s Extra-Curricular Lesson” which is often remembered as the song in which Genocide Jack first appears in the games.
@@skystoyhunts7225as far as I know they can range from friendly to complete self-absorbed PIGS (literally, there's a narcissistic purple pig character in the first animal crossing)
Clay literally did not change. Failboat scientifically coded a AI to completely ruin his game, but in the end it lost to the positive stupidity of a Lazy villager
You wake up. It's failboat. He's uploaded another animal crossing video. You rush to your computer, click the notification as fast as you can, and enjoy what you've been missing for a whole long while.
@@KL53986 He was "using" AI for some portion but the dialogue box for example is a trick, he uses stream overlays. Do you really expect them to respond at what Failboat is saying with no mic input in the game?
@@KL53986Counter arguement: he's turning into DougDoug. By next year he will turn into a pepper, start worshipping otters, and absolutely *hate* lobsters and hats.
When I got the notification for this video, I was shocked and excited. I never, in my entire life, expected Animal Crossing to meet Ai. Truly brilliant.
this seems like it went entirely out of fail's control, to an oddly beautiful degree i actually ended up feeling bad for him at around the first encounter with Tangy LMAO
The animals in Population Growing had a lot of personality. They would get angry or sad if you talked to them too much or hit them with a net. Phyllis also had more of an attitude toward the player since she had to work the night shift.
i really dislike ai due to how it "learns" off other artists with no permission, or how deepfakes get more and more accurate ...however i am not immune to Haha Funnies like using voice recognition + ai to give bland villagers unique replies which actually reflect what you said in theory, this video could have been without ai if there was multiple REALLY fast and dedicated writers replying like a text message but finding ppl like that as well as paying them enough makes it way less accessible than a bit of coding.
@@themanhimself1949I feel like ai humor and human comedy have different audiences. To me, Human humor is funny due to it being purposeful, while ai is funny due to it being accidental.
If Failboat developed this more, this could be THE BEST Animal Crossing mod. Imagine being able to ACTUALLY TALK to your villagers! It would be the ultimate version of the game!
Jaiden animations actually talked about the boringness of the villagers in the modern games a WHILE back Glad to see you can teach a man in his 30s new tricks
No, but I think AI usage is acceptable for Animal Crossing dialogue. I don't think I'd put the game down for hours if some random AI Nintendo made kept generating endless prompts.
Now I am convinced on ChatGPT being a superweapon. These insults are a soul-destroying cognitohazard. We must contain the AI before it obliterates us with personally-selected death incantations. Or anything else really. Chatting with these things ruined the ways I talk. I can't stop talking in overly long sentences with fancy words oh my god someone help me I can't feel my self
To be fair, “Cognitohazard” sounds like the perfect name for such a super-weapon…But I’d never create such a monster even if I wanted to and/or knew how.
@@MysteryEzekude It's a term from the SCP foundation universe. (mostly) A cognitohazard is a thing that hurts you if you perceive it, in this case hearing it. Some might argue that this could be an infohazard, as in something that hurts you if you know about it, but I don't think this applies here.
Having the villagers speak using a chatbot instead of with fixed dialogue is an intriguing concept, it would be cool if a future Animal Crossing game had that functionality! You could just talk into the console, and the villagers would respond with something new every time, depending on their personality! 🤩
Ah yes the delightful animal crossing intro has came back to us🗣 Edit: dude I just came back to my comment after the video and why did people like my comment 😟
Actually, the animals DID have soul in the first Animal Crossing game. The animal neighbors, Phyllis, Resetti, Jack, and all the rest had their own personalities before they slowly got watered down starting with Wild World.
@@fiercedeitymidna5781wild world added stories for non-villager NPCs too. that was my favorite thing about it as a kid. the more freedom they gave the player on decorating their town/island, the less focus there was in actually living in it
i cant believe it actually worked. i did mishear it as "malded" like malding in anger, a nonstop PISSED villager that also personally insults everyone would have been so good pff
ok ok, ive mess enough with ai chats to know it can take you some wild places, you have to do this again but the next time you have to try to create a storyline, maybe some kind of mystery like with carmine and the curses, but its another villager and it has to be the most wild stuff you could never imagine said villager doing
4:44 Lol I was the one that recommended that "she hates Kirby" and I was totally caught off guard when Dan read it out loud and used it, Thank You Dan, your my favorite streamer
We need more of this. This video is priceless, so much possibilities :D I love how unexpected some answers are, and how more entertaining the conversations are
honestly they could develop some sort of AI dialogues that makes that possible... If they did that each villager would be unique and special and would make some underrated villagers more appreciated
so this is why he was doing those code stuff, very good, inspiring even. learning code in order to have more fun with games, i wish to do the same one day
I would actually love to have code like this. Maybe not having them be so mean, but the way they actually respond to each other and are aware of each other.
If i had a nickel for every Nintendo character that wants to live free without the fear of becoming juice, I'd have two nickels which isn't much but it's weird that it happened twice.
5:08 Was... was that Danganronpa music? I haven't seen a Failboat video since I got into Danganronpa and now I realize that the music is literally everywhere-
