I have a question. I have a designated home office that I work out of. However, I have a virtual office listed as my main business address. Can I still write off a portion of my rent for my home office? Or, am I not allowed to since I don't have my home address listed as my business address?
Thank you for the insightful video. If I am building a tech startup and will need to do only R&D for the next couple of years, not services provided yet, but would it be okay to get the virtual address and do research at my house since I will have the space for my equipment and make deductions at the end of the year on my taxes?
If you pay for a virtual address for your LLC business, can you still utilize tax deductions for your home office (portion of utility bill, mortgage, internet, phone bill) under your home address?
