My battery health went from 97% to 89% in just 3 months. Now I learnt that if we use iphone backcover that has no hole then heat from the back can’t come out and the heat damages the battery. Nothing might happen for regular use but I play games for long hours.
For the safety of your phone. First if it gets too warm, turn it off until it cools down. Don’t charge it until it cools down. Very important, I just read do not use your phone while it’s charging. I’ve read a lot of opinions about this. That was the first recommendation I learned. Then I was hearing that it’s okay to use the Iphone while charging. Before I listened to that poor advice, my phone battery life stayed at 100% health for two years. I usually upgraded at least every 2 years. Because I listened to that poor advice my battery health is at 89% after 1 year; and that’s only because I did use it occasionally while charging. It definitely is not good for the battery.
Thank you Daniel! I have a used iPhone 6s w. what i was told was a new battery, but wasn't sure if person who had it before used the new battery. I am new to cell phones, computers.etc. and recently saw that my battery health was 87% & in a relatively short period of time went down to (I'm not sure how long), 83%. (I didn't know to check for this when I first rec'd it.) After listening to your video I realize I have been guilty of "hot phone syndrome". I am now being much more careful (like playing RU-vid music for hours w. Bluetooth speaker, & letting battery get low & then charging). I do seem to use this phone a lot bc I really like it. I have my data put on wifi but am trying to do more browsing on computer instead to conserve my battery. & not letting battery go way down, then charging up again while using. Your information was very clear & I appreciate your well- modulated voice & your speaking loud enough where I don't need a Bluetooth device to hear you! It is a pleasure listening to your advice and I will certainly seek out more videos, you can be sure! Great job, as I am new to internet & older & pretty much on my own!
If this is a problem then how do you cast to a tv to watch a movie or use your phone for long distance travel guide...both would require a lot of battery usage...
The fact that you can do two different things at the same time is what we call over unity or ( v over 1) made by Lloyd g stovall. The father of over unity it's funny that people haven't figured out if you can do more than one thing at the same time with the same energy that so many different types of applications can be made it's like filling up your car and driving it at the same time 🤣 if you don't get the concept then you're not ready for the future
@@kiarrataylor5470 no it doesn’t lol it only ruins it if you let it get really hot and still use it. my phone doesn’t get hot while i’m charging it AND playing games because my room is cold and i leave my fan running and my battery is fine
Just wanna make sure, is it normal for an original 20w adapter from apple making a slightly buzzing or hissing noise during charging the iphone? The noise is not that loud but as i get my ear closer to the adapter, the noise is quite noticeable. Thanks
Well there is current going trough. And the charges we have now are alot more powerfull than 5 years ago. Mine also does the same, i would not worry about it. It makes sense that it would make some sound (since we have optimal charging now) But i also don’t leave my phone charging over night.
Nothing wrong with using your phone while charging. Today's phone's are built with a chip that know when to turn off the charging it how to moderate it. The issues has little to do with if it's charging then it does something is wrong with it to begin with. Anything that causes it to get hot means there is something wrong with the phone regardless of what anybody says. I work with iPhones everyday and there is nothing wrong with using it while it's charging. Some of what he is saying is true but some is uneducated nonsense. These companies that make these phones spend millions testing all of this. If anything there is a defect in the battery and should have it replaced or get a new phone. This is no different then using your laptop while plugged in or any other device that has a battery that is plugged in. Lithium Ion is the main ingredient in these batteries and is a powerful thing. It get hot every time when you use it, charge it, etc. Phones don't really have a way of distributing heat, so some warmth is expected. If it's hot then turn it off and take it to the nearest dealer and tell them what is going on. They can probably replace it if still under warranty. Trust me these devices were designed to handles being ran while plugged in. Charging isn't the issues a defect in the device someone is the culprit.
Okay, thanks for letting us know man 🙂 I have an iPhone SE 2020 and it’s very warm whenever I wirelessly charge it/ borderline hot. I only charge with the cable now and rarely use the wireless charger. Is it the phone??
@shanepatrick641 no, it's the wireless charging. Wireless charging is far less efficient than plugging in your phone, all the energy that doesn't get into the battery due to the non direct charging method is turned into heat
That's not the question the question is if you can use your phone and charge it at the same time this type of technology is very important for the future we don't want to know about heat or anything like that we want to know how it's possible to do two things at the same time because if you can all types of motors that run in the same manner is possible and free energy is one step closer. No one wants to answer this question because they don't want you off the grid. Two things at one time if it's possible then this technology can be upgraded fans can cool the battery so why don't anyone want to actually go into details on how this is possible
For anyone who reads this and wants to know the true definition of over-unity overunity is overlapping energies. That's why I've mentioned that it's important technology for the future where your smartphone allows you to charge up your phone to full capacity while also discharging the power that you're using and no power laps, if anyone has any type of imagination they'll see this is like a water wheel which is also over unity. the water that pours out and the water that comes in at the same time keeps the wheel rotating this is called overlapping energy. @@shanepatrick641 absolutely and that's been in the news lately they're being sued for doing such things, but have you noticed that all those power supplies like the jackery and all the others have passed through charging that means you can charge and use the device I believe when we started this conversation we were talking about that but remember how people resist change, and yet here it is being utilized and you'll start seeing it more and more. This also means that people who ignored this lost an opportunity to make lots of money themselves we have to grab the opportunity when we first discussed this and figure out how we can capitalize on it for our families
I don’t know how my friend maintains his battery life from 90% plus for over a year. I think he’s taking care of it better than his girlfriend. Jk. 😂 But seriously though, this is the problem with iPhone. Mine reduced from 88% to 79% real quick because I transferred into an apartment with no built-in AC. And let me tell you, it was freaking hot! Electric fan couldn’t support the apartment (btw I’m from PH) so my phone used to be extremely hot during the day until 8pm. It only gets warm around 9pm up. Sometimes my phone wouldn’t charge because of heat. So I had no choice but to find another place. I just get shocked when my battery life go down like that so fast. Anyway, some say that you shouldn’t let your phone be on 20%. When your phone reach 50% you should charge it and don’t let it reach 100%.
Guys just use ur phone just don’t play games while charging and also use low power mode while charging if u are using it makes temps lower because lower power use
Hi Daniel. Question, can i use my super old iPhone 6S 5W power adapter and cable as my charger for my iPhone 12 Pro? I am so worried because I still don’t have the 20W usb-c power adapter, it’s out of stock for a week now. I’m using a power bank to charge it instead. Another question, is it true that to have a good long battery lifespan, i have to charge it when it is 20% and to remove the same when it’s 80%?i have been doing it for a week now. Please advise.
smaller wattage is better since it higher wattage releases more heat. smaller wattage would likely be better to maintain your battle health for a longer time
Umm one question ummm I'm charging my iPad with a Nintendo switch charger and my iPad is hawawi and it perfectly fit in the charge so is ist good to charge with the Nintendo charge on my iPad?????

Hi, Mr. Daniel, i have a problem with my iPhone, i have check the batery health 2 days ago, and it's still on 99% BH, but today i check it again because the battery very fast drop, thatss so bad the BH is 96% its very sad, Can you tell me why? Oh ya once again, i use my phone for gaming content, sometimes my battery is low when iam record the gameplay, so i charge the battery and continues to record my gameplay, is it wrong? please tell me more @Daniel About Tech
I mean yeah I guess I’ve been using my phone while it’s charging for a while and I’m not dead, I’d assume as long as you don’t open your phone up, and apply electronic parts directly to your brain, that you’ll be fine. If you drop it in the bath with you, I don’t think it’s strong enough to shock you
If you get a temperature warning ⚠️ feom charging and playing your phone , then something Else is wrong . If you get that warning from leaving your phone in the sun different story

I buy a Cellara charger with USB C and i use the iphone charging cable from the box with USB C to lightning port. I paid like 75 RON from Romania and is 15 euro i think but is a little little expensive from Romania for a charger

I was just on the internet and it said I have 8 viruses and it told me to download a app I did and on the app it said to get rid of them so I clicked the button so I watched one of your videos on viruses and found out it was fake so I deleted it and cleared my history and stuff is everything safe on my phone?
Yeah everything is safe they just tricked you to download the app but don’t click random links ads and don’t trust those that want you to download something it can be a virus recommend you to use a VPN or Adblocker
