Totally agree a .22 air rifle is what you need, a Co2 or Green gas gun wont cut it, maybe at very close range with an airsoft that is modded, but then modding them is illegal in the UK anyway. All you need for a GBB is a file to make it full auto, but that is also illegal for some reason. I have fired a modded GBB that had 450 - 500 fps, but it was modded.
Bravo. This was a really insightful and a very good example describing BB guns and the power that they have in comparison to many other bb gun, and pellet guns. Your elaborate descriptions of the various different guns was outstanding. Just outstanding. I dont know of any .....any ....ANY BB gun, Airgun replica of any kind that has the foot lbs or the FPS speed and power to humanely hunt any rodent whatsoever(22 cal.rifle using C02 Maybe). Thats if we're talking pistols only. I Haven't seen any bb gun that would be remotely useful in hunting any animal for that matter. Hats off, and thanks again, for another one of your golden videos,
Lol, you had me laughing out loud at the beginning of the video ! I must admit that I totally agree with you, these firearms are not suitable for ANY hunting needs at all. You can get replicas that fire a pellet at over 600fps but even then I don't think that they are the proper tool for the job.
I would not use any BB guns for hunting, the only thing I would use for hunting is Crosman 1322,1377 and 2240, or just use air rifle and choose right pellets..I enjoyed the video because a lot of people are inquiring about this subject...
Don't do it! Co2 pistols are for training. Tried using pellet gun( pistols) on large rats, that had been trapped. Took several shots for them to die( one took 4 shots a 2nd one took over 8) with a M17 pistol Sig, replica with in 5" to 8" of distance.
