That RS you showed a while back, tuned and with good skis would have shone here. 30 seconds in to the sight lap I was thinking cross country race. Looks like a blast for sure.
@@burninrubber427 it would have been dusted on that hill climb pull for sure. Speed through the bumps and corners would make a race interesting though.
Minnesota guy here, that course is something I could have a lot of fun with!! Looks like a great time! Bring thee ol studded 137 / 1.5 storm on the 850 gade and let er eat!!👏👏👏
Another great video. Congrats man. Looks like a nice and friendly family event. It would be nice to see them set up a kids race track for the young up and coming riders.
Dude. It must have felt good to have some many people recognize you. You may think its just a small youtube channel but man, you are known and enjoyed by many folks out there. Keep up the great work, Matt!
Awesome to have you out mate! You done a silky smooth lap! So cool to see some videos on the event. It's one of the best around. Just remember a snowbike beat you on the hill climb 😉 see ya next year ✊️
You are such a good rider. I knew this when you first started making videos, I was hooked on watching your lines. You can ride with the best in the world and prevail! Thanks, Matt. Awesome entertainment, educational and all!
Awesome run man! I would be curious what a 2nd run would have looked like. I think you could have shaved some from the hill climb in-run corner, and put a little more speed on the beginning of the downhill?
Looks like XC racing use to race pro XC 100 mile races on those type conditions. Really gives u a work out for sure lol Congrats worst thing about racing is getting addicted to it haha!!! Thanks for sharing
Well we already know the results. Pretty wild from watching you vlogs for multiple years seeing you progress from a capable back country rider who made compelling videos to winning an event like this. My Winder woulda liked that course. Was there really avy danger to need the airbags and shovels?
Cross country race sled be the best for sure. Or a MXZ would definitely be better use to pro race XC we ran 100 mile races on those types of conditions Really beat by the end of the day
Looks like you enjoyed the race weekend. It's one of my favourite weekends of the year. Nothing like a couple hundred like minded people on the mountain enjoying themselves.
Soo glad you finally posted this! What an awesome event and congrats again on the fastest lap! I think the amount of time you get behind the bars definitely helps your times, (might be a bit of the Ontario riding too ) :) Another Great Video Matt
After the race did you hit the parking lot to drink with your buds and make fun of your fans who called you out on drinking in public and driving after?
This type of trail riding is very similar to what I grew up on in Newfoundland. I would take my buddies 1996 670 Mach 1 (race clutch and 440 carbs) through stuff like that doing WELL over 100 kph. That machine topped out at 196 kph and handled like a dream. So much fun until the moose stepped out
lol this is for the people who think going fast on a groomed trail makes you a good rider, what a track for the RS That’s the stuff I live for reminds me of our riding here in Newfoundland where you have woops for days … you ain’t riding hard enough if your legs aren’t burning 😂
