in terms of irl i think brute force can win if it acompanied by a good attack plan one example i think is the ussr i think the soviet union has allways used the idea of useing brute force with a good attack plan but i think the best example is the great patriotic war just on a map you can see how the soviets utilised this but also to further prove my point just look at old soviet cold war exersises
