How interesting! I’ve always wanted to try IPL but it’s so expensive and with my medical bills, I’ve been unable to purchase one! I’m really intrigued by this one because it’s more precise and helps with redness since I have rosacea. Your skin is just glowing Jodylynn! Looking forward to hearing more! Have a wonderful rest of the week and Happy Holidays! 🌲💚❤️
Super interesting. I have been interested in a home IPL for dark spots but luckily I have so few (like you, just a few on hair line) so it’s not at the top of my list. Curious why this technology is so much more expensive. So fun to hear about new technology and watch your channel grow. 😀 you do such a great job of presenting and explaining all these fun skincare products.
Hi Jodylynn! Thank you for your very informative videos! I purchased this device and the Jovslim. My DPL device only switches to two modes Brighten/pour-Redness and Power. There is no Whiten mode? I reached out to JOVs customer service and they told me there was noting wrong with my device? My question to you is does your device actually show the three switchable modes because mine does not have a Whiten mode. Am I missing something? I even sent them a video showing this! Thank you!!
Hello! I reached out to the company and they have changed the device settings. When you turn on the power button is is automatically on "Whiten" mode. That is the default. Does that help?
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn Yes it helps very much! The whiten mode is why I purchased the machine and I thought this had no whiten mode on it! They need better instructions! Thank you so much!!
Hi Jody, just got the Jovs device, but I don’t know how many passes I can do in one area? Or is there an amount of time you have to do per area? Because in your other video you said you used it for a minute in your forehead? So if you can help me clear that, I would really appreciate it. ❤❤❤
That is such a great question and I do not know at this time. Nira is claiming the technology they use, laser, can help with that. But I do not know that yet. Thank you for watching.❤️🙏
Based on the wavelength range that’s on Jovs’ website (500nm - 650nm), this device should be good for broken capillaries. I’ve got my eye on this one and I’m looking for more reviews before pulling the trigger. But it seems like a really interesting one
As a man, I often wish I could wear makeup to even my skin tone (the redness and whatnot) around the corners of my nose, etc. and sun damage. I don't want to bother with makeup. Would this help with those problems?
N. Adam I am testing this so I am not sure just yet. I am hoping so. Have you tried a tinted sunscreen? The Drmtology Tinted Sunscreen? It is light weight and I find that it tones down the redness. I'll keep you posted on this device.
Hi Jodylynn-maybe I missed it but how long have you been using the Jovs? Would be curious after 3-4 months to see what you think. I've been working on my hyperpigmentation for 2 years now. Long process.
Tanyts, it is super quick. On the whiten mode you do 1 flash per area. The redness mode and brighten mode, you can do 2 flashes on the area but not consecutively I hope that helps.🙏❤️
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn that helps a lot! Thank you so much 🙏 Just got my Ussera, hope you can do a tutorial on how you use it, because I know you did a short where you use it also on the forehead 💞
I've got one but the spot I wish to flash is blocked by the goggles. Any ideas how to get around it? I plan to close my eyes when doing it .. but not sure if it will be good.
Angie per JOVS, this is what they said:, "Our DPL Photorejuvenation device cannot be used near the eyes, please wear goggles and use it according to the instructions." Sorry.
Absolute overpriced garbage! I have used the unit 3 times a week for 12 months and there has been absolutely no difference in my skin tone whatsoever and the light spots that I had 12 months ago are still there. At a power rating of 3 joules/cm2, the device is simply underpowered to make any difference.
@@AgingNaturallywithJodylynnthis person has commented this same comment in several videos . Makes me wonder their agenda. I love this device and so do a lot of others I have talked to
OK. First of all., J”OVS” has an ‘S’ in it, so does “roSacea” (it’s not roatia) Also, the word “button” has two “t”s in it that you refuse to pronounce. It’s buTTon, not “buh’en”. 🙄🙄🙄 Finally, you never discussed any of the other settings, and what they feel like. Obnoxious and disappointing video.
