Hmmm I'd take a sling fire stock cut it and attach it to the lawbringer stock so you'd have a tad more comfort along with looks what you add this idea to is up to you I have put a sling fire stock on the rough cut it's great and good lookin
Hey Xavier, if you have a broken Apollo, you can use the 3rd gear (preferably the new metal one) as a lovely replacement for the weak plastic one in the Judge :) I wasn't sure if the Judge could take a K26 but thanks a ton for confirming it for me!
Just as a FYI, the widened part of the spring in hammer primed blasters is what goes towards the bottom, as its what stops the spring from pushing out the bottom.
The little foam seal that connects the cylinder and the plunger tube on my lawbringer got destroyed, so i cut up a dart flattened it with a hair dryer and superglued it on, somehow it worked (i found this funny for some reason)
Love the new intro! This episode was very helpful because I just got the Judge. I’ve been thinking if it could take a K-26 for a while now! Great video cap!
Nice Vid Cap. On the topic of cosplay and the judge... I plan on painting one up for Mrs Commander so she can use it for a Bombshell Harley Quinn costume.
I believe that spring for the Lawbringer was a Strikefire spring, or at the least the same dimensions as one. I have a Strikefire spring myself, and it seems to be identical.
I wonder if there's a type of sturdy label you can apply to springs and mystery parts so that the source is marked when you go to use them again later?
I was actually just tearing apart some goodwill finds for parts today, and among them was a Tek 6. Dig up one of the many stock Hammershot springs I have laying around, and as it turns out the Tek 6 spring rests snugly around the Hammershot spring, the internal diameter being exactly the same size as the external diameter of the widest coil of a Hammershot spring. I am not currently able to test it to be 100% positive, but I’d put down the $1.50 I paid for the Tek 6 that it would work.
Captain Xavier, I just compared the spring combo to some Hammershot internals. It looks like it would work. However, personally I’d add a larger washer of some sort as the Tek 6 spring is almost over the edge of the support and could, in time, slip over and fail. It would definitely be a heck of a spring upgrade though.
The judge is the perfect meme gun. Also, if it's possible to mod it to take sledgefire shells instead of having to manually reload all 30 shots, that would probably make it far more practical. (Assuming you also made some kind of button or mechanism to quickly eject empy shells, like ejecting them when the shell rotates past the firing position)
I'm breaking the rules but I'll risk it, liked the new opening and the new what can it take, I have the recall of a goldfish now on with the merriment!!! props to spell check for dropping the y and adding the i!
What rule are you breaking? The don't comment until finishing the video? Compliments are generally ok since they are not things that are likely to be effected by later content. Generally it is questions or corrections or suggestions that are the issue. :)
Modulus line = inspired by the attachments from Call of Duty Zombiestrike line = CoD Zombies Doomlands = Fallout + Red Dead Redemption Rival = Super Monkey Ball Alien Menace line = Halo??? Impact Zone = the obligatory ice level Hasbro knows how much money video games make.
+Darren Jacobson madness! That us what! I will, of course, make the stock from this into a standard stock. Then I will put a stock attachment point on my minimized Lawbringer. And then I will be able to put the stock BACK ON! MWUHAHAHA!
in one of your vids (I think the toy story k26 vid) you had green balls but did no know what they were called the are "Ballistic Balls" Here are some Attachments for EIR 1- single boom co 2- 3 boom co 3- 6 boom co 4- nerf nitro 5- Ballistic Balls 6- Zing Firetek Rocket 7- molle 8- dude Perfect arrows 9- Faux Bow arrows 10- rebel / zomstrike arrow 11- Xploderz 12- Tek Recon 13- Vulcan ammo belt 14- Zing Air Z-ammo Suction Cup Arrows 15- Hog Wild Power Popper
What a coincidence Captain a week ago Goodwill brought mine.. You can keep the judge I'll bring the Law. Almost 10 kg of spring without upgrading the catch spring.Where was this video a weekend ago when I was studying Law.
I wonder if you can turn the Judge into something akin to a mortar. I know Walcom turned it into a bazooka revolver with a compressor, and with the weight, I don't see a benefit to holding it all day.
No idea if a tech-6 spring would work for supplementing that of a hammershot, but the one I have is the same diameter as the standard N-Strike Elite springs that are found in stock retaliators, rampages, and EAT's
The lawbringer in my experience has less sturdy internals than the hammershot, but I would still try the mod I do for hammershot here. I take two stock hammershot springs and twist them together for my spring upgrades. It is significantly tougher than an 8 kilo spring, and I have never had an issue with catching. The only caveat is for that for the love of all things sacred, do not dryfire it.
If you could figure out a spring powered, magazine fed, automatic blaster, you'd have made my heaven in Nerf form. I've got a few concepts rolling around but they all use monster sized shells to act as the mechanism for firing the darts, which - while it works fine in theory - leads to seriously low FPS readings without even *larger* shells. Having said that, I'd settle for a tube mag blaster that doesn't suck.
Is that.... is that a rapidstrike in the intro? Filming in advance of the next April fools video? The Lawbringer stock is woefully too short for even a child, but I REALLY like the idea of a revolver rifle/revolver carbine. I want to get my hands on one so that I can extend the stock, maybe with a slingfire stock (BECAUSE THAT ISN'T THE OBVIOUS ANSWER ¬.¬) But I do really like the look of the Lawbringer barrel. Every time I think about how to improve the The Judge, I always end up with a lanard triple shot. Either that or some hyper complicated sledgefire shell ejecting monster... that looks like a lanard triple shot. I like the new format, let's see if it's popular!
Nice surprise. I want a Lawbringer of my own someday. Also, I had a thought. The Judge has a lot of dead space in the revolver section. What if you were to make a smaller (maybe only 4) Sledgefire shell revolver for an air blaster attachment?
if you want a noticeable difference doublestrike spring in the lawbringer or any hammer prime blaster so far and get it or you could put in 3 springs from the shotgun pistol knock off thing youv already tried for K26 to get over 100 fps (if you upgrade the seal and all that)
cap, you can double spring hammershot, but to let you know, when i tried priming it with double springs when the shell was open it did not catch but when i closed it it will work fantasticaly
I believe that half compression doesn’t damage the spring the only reason why leaving the blasters primed damages it is it’s it it’s apex compression which is what causes strain
hey Cap, i was wondering if you could take a look at some cheap airsoft springers (ukarms as an example) and see if any of those springs would be compatible/ viable for Nerf?i think that would be a cool video/ experiment
i've just recently subscribed to you, so i didn't look through all your videos yet. but have you tried to put a k26 to vortex blaster? and btw, what's so special about the k26? i'm from the airsoft community, still new to nerf blasters
Yes, I covered Vortex Blasters. They cannot as they do not use compression springs. They use torsion springs. And K26 is strong, cheap, and fits in lots of Nerf blasters.
From my own experience, adding a knock-off Jolt spring to my Sweet Revenge together with the stock one, and it got a nice boost. Maybe the spring that you put in it is something like that? Edit: I'm talking about the spring you added to the Lawbringer.
Captain! I'm planning on steampunking my judge this week, but I'm debating on if i want to make it semi-war practical or not. With k-26 do you think it's worth it to brass the 30 barrels of the judge?
I doubt it. I would be surprised if it would even be able to fire, honestly. Maybe a partial brass barrel. But it was so weak I would be worried about it not having enough power to clear a brass barrel at all.
