JOHN KRAMER. UNDEAD. ZOMBIE HEART THAT PUMPS WITH UNTOLD CASHFLOWS. But in all seriousness, thank you for your patience and continued interest :) You make this worth doing, and I could not be more grateful.
Well, I'd say this thoroughly explains why the first Saw film was so cheap. Kramer burnt a hole through his whole-ass savings account and said "Well, probably can't do that 7 more times." Before deciding to do it 7 more times.
“John, why is there a cement truck parked outside my grandfather’s barn?” “That’s the first in a long series of questions you’re about to have that I don’t intend to answer.”
I really relate to the fact that this series started by seeing something out of place in a movie and thinking "that doesn't feel right" followed by some intensive googleing
i still can’t get over how this film desperately tried to convince you that john had somehow come back from the dead in a series with zero supernatural elements
"in a barn owned by Jills family" you know, they said this game was never found, so when they found out Jigsaws Ex-wifes family had a remote place out of the way, they didnt think to look into it at all? Like, did they just not look into anything Jill had?
Regarding the lasers, you're 100% correct in that there's no way he could steal those. My mom runs a lab that uses a few pieces of expensive equipment, and they have sign-in sheets that you have to fill out before using them. It's serious.
Those bad boys are expensive! Most places with items that cost a pretty penny need you to check them out. Same for medications, which is making me wonder how Logan got away with the sedatives because they'd be taking inventory on those bad boys.
YOu know, at this point it would be pretty plausible that John not only was a pro investor, but also gave financial advice to all his students on how to make enough money for the traps.
I love the expanding behind the scenes cast of Foot the Bill. KA has engineers, medical staff, and now contractors on call for asking very important saw movie questions
Honestly I always just assumed John manually turned off each wall of saws once blood was spilled, considering how primitive, of sorts, the game was. But I like the idea of a SawStop more
The Volume of a cylinder is pi * radius SQUARED * height NOT pi * radius * 2 * height. That amounts to about 392 cubic feet which is 1,516.95 $ before or 1,280.42 $ after the plot twist, assuming the rest of the numbers are correct. That increases the final result to 483,711.00 $ There are already comments pointing out the error, but i wanted to also provide the correct results here.
Military Fact: Since I had a family member deployed in Fallujah the same time as Logan was, his salary was likely tax free. When US soldiers around that time were deployed their income would not be taxed since they are not in the US. Given that he probably was deployed for at least three years of tax free income (even if captured his family would still be compensated) he would likely have enough between all three jobs to pay for the new game. Also I always thought that since Kramer and Logan seemed to have a father son bond from the ending scenes, Kramer probably let Logan know where a hidden Game Fund would be just in case he ever needed extra funds to use the reverse bear trap himself in a game. 🤷🏻♀️
The twist works better in this review than in the original movie =) Tbh seeing how expensive this game was actually makes a lot more sense continuity-wise. John blows a couple of hundred thousand dollars on a game and is like "...okay, the next one's going to have to be A LOT cheaper".
Logan: I was tired of seeing bodies on my table because of Halloran's corruption. Logan: Starts up the ol' serial killing gig again using the skills he picked up from the world's most messed-up summer camp, thereby ensuring more bodies on his table. My favourite hasselback potato, he and Hoffman would have been a meeting of the minds.
@@kittenarcader it was worth it! Did it mean I had to speed-lace my boots? Yes. Do I now know how expensive the traps in Jigsaw are to relay to my con friends? Also yes!
The silo trap is truly the trap in this franchise that most speaks to my very specific fears. I think I read about drowning in a grain silo at a formative age and I’ve been terrified of silos ever since. They got me good with this movie lmao Hoping the damage to your home was minimal and the cleanup from the hurricane goes smoothly!! ❤
My mom was almost died in a silo at a young age. Also she said it wasnt uncommon to be down a classmate from summer break to farm accidents. This was before the farm crash in the 80s so alot more small farms means alot more corners cut and people pay.
I'd love to see a joke film where they just bring John Kramer back literally as a vampire/zombie and not care about the rules. Like people just watch these for the traps so if they went all out with the camp I think it would sell well.
The traps have to be survivable though, not survivable, not good traps. Also there needs to be some soap-opera esc plot. That’s why Jigsaw is above Spiral for me, at least Jigsaw tried to have the twists and turns and soap that the others had. Did it succeed? Mileage varies.
Honestly the best series, scratches that nerd itch in my brain so good. I know if I were to try something like this it'd be sloppy and unfunny and would probably bore people to sleep, so that makes this even more impressive lol. Can't wait to see Saw X and the radiation trap in particular haha
@@toonnddaa Maybe, but I don't know who would leave behind a fully functional machine worth the best part of a million dollars. The rig the radiation machine is on is crazy too but then again John is smart and evidently resourceful lol
@yetij Perhaps, but I'm gonna refute and say it's happened. In 1987 Goânia, Brazil, a radiation machine from an abandoned clinic caused a horrible Nuclear Disaster. Truth is stranger than fiction sometimes.
I'm actually going to go out on a limb and make an argument the radiation device was scavenged. There have been numerous incidents of people getting horrific radiation poisoning and even dying because they scavenged and cracked open improperly disposed of devices like that.
I only just now managed to find time in my busy schedule to sit down and watch this video, and I’ve gotta say, you’ve really outdone yourself this time! Great job on the video! It was hilarious! I’m looking forward to the next one! 👍 Hopefully you’re doing okay after the hurricane. Take care of yourself, buddy! We’re rooting for you!
@@kittenarcader Yeah, no problem! Oh, and by the way, I sent you a couple games I don’t need anymore so you have more to play on your PS3 than just the Saw video games.
I love how Logan managed to almost eclipse Hoffman's entire career in just one trap. It's like some modern rendition of the story of Cleopatra and the pearl.
I still cant figure out how Mitch was suppose to win his trap cause as he would get lower theres no way he'd be able to get to the bottom without his arms and flesh flying off. It looks too narrow
I remembered I watched the first saw video when it came out and i was like "I wonder if this guy made more", I'm so glad I checked hahahaha this channel is great
I've been very excited to get to this one because of the head splitting laser and you did not disappoint! I love the elaborate blender trap so much. Go big or go home, as I'm sure John would say. They should do a movie that's just backstory on his architectural career. Love to imagine the things he floated that had engineering firms going "The budget on that would be obscene! No way!"
This is totally a non sequitur, great work as always, but if you guys ever make merch I would construct a SAW trap for an enamel pin version of the foot in the ‘Foot The Bill’ logo.
@@rayvenkman2087"for far too long your rivalry has torn cities apart godzilla and Kong, lets see if you can work together before your the ones who get torn apart"
After watching this series over and over again I had an odd thought... How much is Jigsaw and his apprentices spending at S&M shops on chains and leather alone?!
I just have to say I have been LOVING these videos. The production quality and humor is just getting better and better with everyone, you are easily my new favorite channel! Keep up the great work
Honestly, up until 3 Foot the Bills ago (excluding this one), I'd do our best attempt to verify costs alongside the video. Nowadays I just trust your catmath @w@.
Honestly with how thin the bezels were on the big TV, you might need to go back and look into early prototype OLEDs for hundreds of thousands of dollars as those were probably the only things that would come close
Honestly, when I first watched your first Foot The Bill episode on Saw 1, I had this question in mind which was "how is he going to bill the flat screen TV in Jigsaw? The game takes place before Saw 1 canonically," and I was patiently waiting for this episode to drop for the answer. I was surprised to find that the same question was the inspiration for this whole series. I find it funny, to be honest, lol
My man, I'm in love with your content. Honestly you're almost too good for youtube, like tv show status. I really hope you continue on making the IRS inspections for our favorite serial killers and villains. Keep on grinding or should I say SAWing EDIT: Tell your wife she's now my favorite editor 😺
Just want to say that I’ve never seen a single Saw movie and yet these have become some of my comfort, go-to-sleep-listening to videos! Thanks so much and so excited for more. 😊
Yay I've been looking forward to this one! I recently did a binge of all the saw movies thanks to Jeffiot's video on the traps and that led me down a rabbit hole of saw related videos and I gotta say your brand of humor and your fun twist on how you analyze the movies in question is fantastic. Keep up the great work, looking forward to spiral and scream 2!
I love how you're coming in to your own with your editing. The puns, the silliness like "needles - AAH! Math - AAAH!!" And the cat pics insert. Hell yeah, so fitting and I'm happy for your success!
It's amazingly coincidental that I watched this video after one about the laws about cats in medieval Wales, which included a bit about how cat's milk was legally not sellable. So now I have two videos referencing the futility of milking other animals.
Jigsaw is kind of a silly mess but I've always preferred it over Spiral and about a third of the main Saw movies. It's at least fun. Great video as always baus
