The fact SuSu didn't use Mask Heroes or the other elemental Heroes that Jaden used in the manga is mind blowing. I'm not sure why he went with a vanilla Hero deck while Jen used a mix of tv anime and movie anime cards lol Mask Hero/E-Hero would have shut down that blue eyes deck easy lol SuSu didn't even run Divine Neos something that he could have used to fuse more often or the other Neos fusions that don't use Neo-Spacians lol where is Stratos!?!? Jaden at least used Stratos in the anime if you was going to just use vanilla anime Jaden deck. What the heck SuSu lol Please redo this duel with SuSu making a better Hero deck using the anime/manga hero cards lol round 2 please. Bad Deck convulsion lmao

Susu said after the first match he wasn’t using Neos. He didn’t exactly say why but I’m assuming because it would have been way too overpowered. This deck is more level with blue eyes.

Just saying it seems a bit unfair for Susu to be restricted to Jaiden's season 1 deck while Jen gets to splice in cards like Blue eyes Twin Burst, white stone of legend, and return of dragon lords. All cards Kaiba never used in the anime or manga. She should have at least been restricted to the Battle City and/or awakening of the dragons deck for Kaiba.

Yeah, they usually try to keep the decks around the same level (though some decks are just going to be better than others) but this time they just used one anime accurate deck and one updated deck. It is so weird because they never do that lol

Honestly, I think OG Kaiba without the new support would've been a better matchup against the Jaden deck here. While Jaden has the advantage of a fusion summoning toolbox, he runs none of the gamebreaking DM staples or generic high atk beaters Kaiba had. The fact that Jaden won at least one game here was a miracle. It really was a Miracle Fusion.

Its literally a different generation deck vs Kaiba's old school vanila deck that is just not a fair match, as the game has evolved since then.

@@ira233 To be clear, I'm talking about Kaiba's Battle City deck, which has much more than just vanillas. It has access to fusion summons through the XYZ alphabet cards, the classic 3 Blue Eyes we all know and love, high atk monsters like Battle Ox and Vorse Raider, and DM era staples that were banned at multiple points in the TCG's lifespan, such as Crush Card Virus and Ring of Destruction. While GX was a new era for YGO, a lot of competitive play during early GX (the time era the Jaden decklist is based off of) didn't bother with the GX archetypes, since the cards paled in comparison to the OG YGO sets that came before it. This is probably the one time where a new generation on release didn't make too much of an impact.

Jaden’s deck definitely could try some staples he used from Season 1: Solemn Judgment (when he dueled Jinzo) Mirror Force (against the archfiend player) Mirage of Nightmare (against the gravekeeper duelist) (I think it is craftable?) Emergency Provisions (against the gravekeeper duelist and archfiend duelist)

Bro didn't didn't even use the manga cards from Jaden that are broken like Dark Law. He didn't even use Stratos a card Jaden used during Season 3 of the anime and a staple from the manga. He didn't even run Divine Neos which he could have ran in this deck so he could run over Neo blue eyes ultimate dragon. Bro threw hard here.

Susu, PLEASE, I'm begging you... use the gx manga cards. They're so much better than Jaden's season 1 cards. The ace is E Hero Terra Firma, which is much better than flame wingman. Woodsman is Clayman, but can search Poly every turn. Ocean gets fusion materials back from the gy. You'll have access to Gaia, Great Tornado, Absolute Zero, Nova Master, The Shining and Esquadario, which only need generic heroes, giving you the flexibility the deck needs

I love these match ups but we know if they powered Jaden up to his anime and manga decks there would be so much more consistency. Kaiba gets his updated Blue Eyes monsters so c'mon lets keep it tuff for Jaden too. I'm only on duel one tho! Okay I am back, and I jumped the gun, Neos would be broken if it was Jaden's strongest cards, and Blue Eyes would be nice if all new cards were added but wouldn't take Jaden! As usual! Fun duel!!

Neos Fusion is indeed broken but you are not able to special summon anymore after playing it. And there are cards like Brave Neos, Rainbow Neos, Armed Neos, Kluger which does not go back to the extra deck after you special summon. And there are quite a few support cards for regular Neos monster that return to the deck too. I hope to see a rematch with the Neos hero deck or manga Jaden Deck. But I feel like a good match up for Kaiba will be Chazz but not too sure if it has already been done.

Fun fact, season 1 had more plot armor than Gx. Joey with almost all his bad cards still manage to reach the semifinals (seriously you know how bad insect queen is and was), and Yugi very few people know about this but the Millennium puzzle gave him a luck boost every time he was in danger, that's why he always had the perfect draw. Also if Zuzu was allowed to use new cards you should've been allowed to use jadens cards from the manga. He uses mask heroes there.

I'd have liked to see this duel with 1xStratos, 1xROTA, and 3xKing of the Swamp. Also Hero Signal is another amazing searcher. And these are not even "modern" cards, just non-anime cards of the same era. I get that it's not "anime accurate" but it seems only fair when Blue Eyes includes modern support.

Its a little bit unfair to give Kaiba some new Cards, while Jaden got only his E-Heroes, some of Jadens Top Cards where some Anime Cards like Effect Shut, there isnt even Neos or Yubel in his Deck Profile, with his 1. Season Deck will Jaden never have a Chance. To make it more Fair, put in the Neo-Spacian Stuff or some Spell and Traps who with similiar Effects like his Anime Cards.

I played the original yugioh tagforce recently the e-heroes deck used 3x king of the swamp and the future fusion before it got errata'd it was pretty consistent and dropped all the vanilla e heroes, only ran clayman, sparkman, wildheart and bladedge Give away: yusei/jack atlas vs kaiba/zane truesdale (dont see much 5 D's anime matchups)

How much Wins and Losses does each era have? I noticed Jen played DM mostly Susu done GX. Though you guys switch up side to side. Also it would be neat to see a ladder climbing match where a protagonist from one era tries to duel all the antagonists from a different era. Like Jaden Duels Pegasus, then Marik, then Noah, then Dartz, then Bakura. One round and if Jaden loses, it all ends. I think Jen should be protagonist and Susu is the villians trying to stop her.

I hate the way susu made Jaden's deck cuz he had multiple copies of the monsters so it ain't as consistent as he's saying plus he should've used fusion gate too at least
