I think they have that friends-siblings kind of relationship. For sure they know who each other's crushes or bf/gf. Having each other is probably the safest they can get from malicious comments & dating issues, especially with fellow idols because people would barely notice if they're going out with just friends or lovers. 😁

KARD is the kind of group who’d be awake at 4am talking about their crushes and BM would say “yeah i think [___] is really attractive”, Somin and Jseph would say that he could do better, while Jiwoo would explain just how bad she feels for his crush
Gonna be honest. There is a reason why korea sleeps on them and It's because they think KARD will date and that makes them furious. The thing that I learned from the kpop community is that your looks and your love life is very important. Not your voice or any other talent. You can go viral if you are pretty. It is so toxic and to ignore a talented group like KARD.
no. it just they didn't have that song that gain their momentum in korea. if don't recall was their debut song, i think they have a chance to gain that momentum. it just their official debut song was lackluster and didn't catch korean taste at that times. regardless, they are still going strong, and loves them for that
Considering that there have been popular mixed gender groups in the past, your reasoning doesn't wash. Their just not popular, the GP doesn't vibe with their music, their agency doesn't promote them properly, bad luck/timimg etc. - that's the reality for KARD and probably other marginally popular K-pop groups with a niche fanbase.
@@Sharon-fc6lz That's honestly not true. It's not necessarily the company's or music's fault when kpop groups are not popular. Go ahead and say that DREAMCATCHER's company didn't promote them well. Their discography is pure gold and even the most famous groups don't have a discography that versatile. It's the truth that visuals and Big 3 (now big 4) groups are always the most popular ones. BTS was an exception, there haven't been anyone like them who's from such a small company and became the most popular domestically and internationally. Dreamcatcher literally got their first win after 5 years despite of giving bops and promoting well too. THEY could have won in Déjà Vu era of it wasn't for the cheating and vote manipulation by The Show
Korea sleeps on them because Kard isn't 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd tier. They're not really good enough to be A-list. Kard is talented, kard is pretty, kard can dance and sing...but they don't do any of that REALLY well. Right now in kpop we're in this gilded era, seeing the best of the best do it with every single release. Being sub-average isn't going to cut it. When you're used to diamonds, cz's just don't cut it.
I see them more with chaotic sibling energy. But if they do fall in love with each other, then we have no say in it and just be happy for them. Idols who date their members isn't something new(we all know some of them are, they're just too scared to admit it due to backlash). Let idols date for a change. We get better music that way. And them being able to express themselves more will boost their artistic qualities.

Honestly I don't mind if they stay 4 individual members of KARD nor if they happen to find attraction (if it's natural and not forced). If they stay 4 members, then we can appreciate them even more for their talent as idols and how they are spearheading the co-ed concept as cooperating artists. If they happen to find attraction naturally, then I hope they find happiness and can still remain professional as idols. Either way as long as we still have KARD and they are happy and successful 🙏💯
If any of those feelings were there, it would've only been there at the very beginning of their careers, like when they first met. By now, they're just chilling as a group and love each other as a family. And I really see it in their interviews, their main goals as a group are to expand the KARD name to more and more people and grow as artists (which they've done an amazing job at).

Regardless of gender preference and group make up I’d assume it’s just too risky to the group dynamic in most peoples opinion to start dating each other. Since so many groups know each other for so long too it creates more of a sibling dynamic. I’m sure it happens within groups but I wouldn’t think it’s actually that common. In a co Ed group with the consideration of boy/girl pairings it’s more likely due to the ratio of heterosexual people and acceptance in society but even so it’s their job so they need to stay somewhat professional and it’s not like everyone who becomes close friends will have a crush on each other etc
I don't think that they would date each other even if they were interested, because you don't date people you work with, that can lead to lots of problems

The dynamic between Somin's powerful vocals, BM's deep voice, Jseph's electric rapping, and Jiwoo's sweet voice/deep rap is seriously like nothing else in kpop. BUT over the years their bond make them feel like family/siblings, i can see it and really u dont like to break dat bond by dating or stuff Maybe in the future and i really support them if ever they do cuz they are humans and i still ship them happily even if they sont date now
