Brandon Miller will lead this team by year 3 honestly. We plan on just letting Melo be Melo and let Brandon carry the team in crunch time cause he’s wired for it.

@@melaniepalmer2013 I don’t think he even wants to be the definitive leader. So we can’t force him to be. Brandon clearly wants it so give him the keys and let Melo control the Aux everyone wins.

@@NoahBClarkDo you watch the Hornets??? Melo clearly is and accepts his role as leader.. BMill gonna be a trusted player that handles the rock in crunch forsure.. But he's not THE leader and never will on any level for the Hornets cause everyone knows Mill nice but Melo generational talent..

The Hornets, as a franchise, is a greater attraction with Melo as the marquee player. Brandon could even be the leading scorer at some point, but more people tune in to see Melo--which isn't more important than winning, but it's a close second.

@@ktdagoat1289 yes I’ve watch basically every hornets/bobcats game since 2014 and nothing about lamelo says he’s accepted the complete team leader role if anything it was Rozier and even who Miles showed it more in previous seasons and he missed an entire season to a domestic abuse case. And talent isn’t everything in the leadership discussion especially when you play 20 games a season. lamelo may be a generational passer but Brandon’s effort as a defender, coupled with his immediate vocal leadership on court and off with coach Lee shows that he wants it. But none of this really matters the players will decide who the leader is not the fans or media all I want is for the hornets to stay healthy and win.
