The reason we are putting things under the microscope, being nitpicky if you will is because we see the talent and understant what this team is capable of doing this season. Dude also said we havent been good in 20 years. Thats true, but a large part of the Hurricane fan base has seen what championship teams look like and what championship culture looks like. We recognize both things in our Canes this year. Because we recognize greatness in this team, we sometimes get a little nitpicky. At the end of the day THATS A GOOD THING. LETS GO CANES! We have done well to this point. Damien Martinez has been a no-show vut jave we really needed him? The pass game has been wild. Our secondary is good but will need to be almost perfect going forward. Houston needs to step it up. O Line and D line are doing very well.

No need to play Bain saturday night. Barron, Alston and Bryant have all been ELITE! We also have Mesidore who has mostly been playing tackle but because of the play of Barrow, Clarke, Moten, Horton and Scott bouncing Mesidore back outside to End is what we should be doing anyway. I believe we should expect to have Bain back next Friday under the Lights at Hard Rock vs. Vtech in our ACC opener.

Don't forget special teams. The Bulls' place kicker is excellent. Maybe a bit better than Borregales. Will it make a difference? That will depend on time, distance and angle provided by whoever holds the ball divided by the number of their opportunities.

some things to worry about is our run defense and how they will contain Brown in the pocket, also what do we do if we go down by a TD early and how do we respond to adversity as i believe this will be the first game Cam will face that.. i think if we pound the rock tho and wear out their DL early it will open up a lot of things in the offense. dont think Dawson will go vanilla offense... cant be doing too many screens tho imo... USF will be ready for those and to jump the routes

Man, this is really getting old! It’s clear that Miami with Ward at the helm is one of the best teams in the country. They did something that most people swore could never be done which was to go into the Swamp and beat the Gators. Well, not only did they beat the Gators like they stole something they probably also took some of their future recruits from them as well. Now, that Florida is doing miserable most want to look at Miami as though they didn’t really beat anyone significant. Now, all of a sudden, it’s Upset Alert!!! Here’s my prediction. Miami is going to go into the USF football team’s stadium and rename that stadium The Orange Bowl. Period!!!!! That’s how bad I expect the Canes to beat their a$$! Then, perhaps they’ll start putting some respect on our Canes name. I hope they go into that stadium and literally take everything away from them including the grass on the field. Leave it with nothing but dirt.

Say what ya want but ACC vs SEC last year, ACC won the heads up matches. AND the other out of conference play was so lopsided. ACC played far better teams than all the SEC teams played. It was embarrassing looking up who SEC teams played lol. Overall, ACC is better than SEC. Those are facts. SEC without Saban paying players before NIL or Kirby given Georgia, already a powerhouse, they would be nothing.
