I got the sense that Orji made some pretty safe decisions. He had three appropriate throwaways and made a smart decision to run on the well/covered flea flicker. His throws were mostly fine, but he was pressured on almost every dropback.
A win is a win! It doesn't matter how you do it. Nebraska won Natty's back in the 1990s with a triple option offense, beating teams like Steve Spurrier's Air Rade Gators and other more sexy teams. So can Michigan continue to win this way, of course they can! Especially if they perfect it.
You guys sound disappointed because they won. Like you wanted Orji to fail. It was his first game.Warren threw 6 interception. Orji didn't have any turnovers. It might not mean anything to you guys but I'm a big fan and it's sad to hear you guys today.
@Chungustime-k9k he always hating! Arm chair coaching at its finest. These guys together are hard to listen to. I keep trying and its always the same. Kinda dudes that find things wrong after the championship game. 😂 This is a bridge to Jadyn Davis year, so let Orji develop. Michigan coaches forgot more football than these guys know. Go Blue!〽️🏈💯💪🏾👑🏆
Every pass orji made was to a receiver who was one on one covered and the receivers didn’t get any separation. But the throws were not sailing over their heads or thrown in the dirt. With Warren he kept throwing to guys who were double and triple covered and the throws were short.
Beat a top 15 team without our best offensive player and people still complain😂😂. John Bacon so spot on, Michigan fans aren’t happy unless they’re unhappy.
I am tired of hearing Orji can't pass. We don't know because they have not let him develop the passing game which is criminal. I think Campbell doesn't know how to use Orji so he took the easy way out with a walk on.....
I agree, though in Campbell’s slight defense, I think he just wanted to run the offense that won the title and tried to go with a JJ-esque (in terms of play style) QB. But without the personnel to run that, it does the team a real disservice. It does seem pretty clear that Campbell does not have facility with good utilization of running QBs. UNLV’s Brent Marion might’ve been a nice choice. But hopefully Campbell will learn and adjust.
As much as I hate to say it, maybe as weak as Tuttle is, he may be the best option. He is a better passer than Orji, and a better runner than Warren. They would be able to run their whole offense.
If Davis Warren comes in on that last drive guaranteed he throws a pass directly into the chest of a USC player for a pick 6. Do not let that kid on the field again, I don’t care how much of a feel good story he is. Put Denegal in before you put Warren back in. Have Donovan Edwards play quarterback before putting Warren back in. I wouldn’t trust him to go against a Division III defense. Balas needs to retire, his takes just get worse every game
I understand that they want people to pay for their best content as they need to make a living. However this free content is horrible, depressing and not worth watching. That is why after watching 5 minutes of this episode I hit the unsubscribe button. Will never watch another one of their podcast and I'm unwilling to pay for the half way decent content. Goodbye and good luck .
