Fair enuff! Ima share a line with you: Any Mimighoul starter + Vernu searcher = Guard dog lock. If dog ends up on your opp's field with maker you can use geonator trasversar to get it to your field. No worries :)
Terror would work. They were flipped face up, and they never left the field. Ocg and tcg cards are worded differently. That's why they often say not to use each ruling from both games as if they are interchangeable

@@rubedog961 but it is especially good with this archetype, since you can handrip them for like 2-3 on your turn, then the trap hand rips them again, then the archfiend handrips them again... god forbid you also have triple tac
I feel like with the second wave we'll eventually get, wanting to set your own monsters will just not be a good thing for consistency sake. You want to give, steal, and then go for aggressive plays. I feel like Sol and Luna is a pretty big deckbuild trap for the deck, because getting stuck with setting one of your Ghouls is just bad news unless Master is established (which makes S&L redundant). The deck obviously hinges on having your opponent having the face down monsters, not you, and the more main deck monsters the deck gets, the less you having to flip your own monsters up really matters? The core of the archetype has five ways to pull pieces from the deck, I feel like we should possibly be looking at traps as a way to stop the things that your opponent is trying to squeak past after your detrimental flips go off. Its very strange, because if you're using your resources to set up cheeky things like Fire Sorcerer, you'll probably run out of gas faster than your opponent will. The deck looks crazy fun and I'm looking to experiment with a Krawler package using Soma to link climb easier, considering they are also Earth for the Sylphs.
I was thinking of play the mimighoul cards in Chimera. They have Master of Ham with instant fusion taking advantage of the flip monsters also mimighoul fiend and the cerb fits chimera with their beast/fiend typing. Like 3x the mimi fiend, 2x cerberus with 2x dragon would work well with 3x mimighoul maker spell. Also having a way to avoid imperm by using their archtype special summon to set it on opp field is very good. Mimighoul dragon is potential instant apollusa for Chimera. Normal summon dragon, search the maker spell, play the spell, 50/50 on getting the fiend and setting the cerb for your opponent, special summon fiend from maker effect, fiend effect to flip the cerb, cerb effect to banish 3 from opp deck to summon a monster, cerb summons itself to your side of field. You now have 4 monsters on your field into a link 4 usually apollusa.
Number 13 and 31 would fit in this deck. They are both rank 1 XYZ using 2 level 1 monsters that can flip all opponents monsters face-up, basically Extradeck swords of revealing light.
Even ignoring the actual card mechanics, the card art looks fantastic. It's kinda like Eldlitch but Toons or an even more goofier version of Ghosttrick, and with a bit of the goofy Labrynth traps that unfortunately no one uses.
@@DocConradYGO unfortunately Mimighoul has the complete reverse of Ghostrick mechanics. Ghostrick generates resources and avoid effects by placing themselves facedown on your field. Mimighoul generates resources and effects by placing themselves facedown on your opponent's field. Maybe some independent Ghostrick like Jackfrost, Specter, or Lantern can function as pseudo handtraps (you load your opponents with Mimighoul, leaving your field empty, then when they declare direct attack, you shut them down with the Ghostricks and clog their field full of face downs)
Theres so many crazy cool combos that exist for potential use. Illusion Chimera can generate master of ham and link him off into SP, then bring him back. Vernusylph lets you convine fenrir and other busted earth attributes to generate tons of advantage. I was thinking of trying to main deck book of taiyou as well as thrust and talents because of the abilities in the deck. Dont forget that the mimighoul trap can help you dodge evenly as well.
@@David-gp7qe The Illusion Chimera deck engine itself can make beasts to fuse into Master of Ham, chich lets you go full combo. I'd look into the king of beasts illusion chimera deck.
I'm afraid I don't see the synergy with the guard dog play the plant/instant fusion line is neat, but it isn't something enabled by the mimighouls which have very good normal summon effects themselves
Guard dog goes like this (more or less) - Search for Maker somehow - Activate Maker, select Guard Dog and Fire Sorc or whatever - If the opponent picks Fire Sorc, you set Guard Dog and Quick flip him on opp's turni - If the opponent picks guard Dog, you use Vernusylphs and Mimighouls to have 2 bodies, set Fire Princess, make Geonator and swap them
I think a better choice than Sunset Beat would be Jioh the Gravity Ninja it's a level 8 earth attribute monster so could be Special Summoned by the Vernusylph monsters and has the effect If this card is Normal/Special Summoned, or flipped face-up: You can target up to 2 face-up monsters on the field; change them to face-down Defense Position, and if you do, any opponent's monsters that were flipped by this effect cannot change their battle positions. If a monster on the field is flipped face-up, while this monster is face-up on the field (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. You can only use each effect of "Jioh the Gravity Ninja" once per turn. So you could use its first effect to reset Fire Sorcerer then on your opponent’s turn use Mimighoul Master to flip Fire Sorcerer and use Jioh the Gravity Ninja's second effect to destroy a card.
I like the fact that some of the cards you chose are ideas I had earlier this week, it makes me happier to know that I have a few you didn’t mention. I like your card theory nonetheless
I love that the advent of an actually good flip archetype with one of the most interesting card designs of all time has inspired people to play some of the worst tech choices of all time like we all forgot about what the current meta is like. (not to offend at all, I am 100% here for it) I want to live in a world where we all approach new archetypes with this level of enthusiasm and creativity.
I could not have said this better myself. I am hoping to see his community grow around this deck and see what everyone comes up with. Almost everyone here is overwhelmingly positive, and I'd love to see that keep building.
i don't think that any of the classic flip monsters techs are good in this deck (as this is not really a flip monster deck) but cards that maximize your opponent having/activating stuff on their side of the field instead edit: after looking for tech cards, most the stuff is 2-3 combo cards that don't do anything on their own, the in-archetype cards are harder to search/extend and you want to get at least to the field spell and a trap and i don't know if that is consistently possible with the tech stuff i saw, and the in-archetype floodgate needs the monsters face down so i don't know if you really want to waste that many resources in flipping them face up, maybe morganite and karma cannon wins in the long run. idk. the more mental simulations i run looking at those cards the more bricky the deck seems, idk, i want to see some replays maybe i missed something.
you forgot about reverse reuse and possibly also 3x of Jhrelth and 1x of Intruder as a small package to give you link material for Behemoth Fiendess or even Borrelguard
another flip monster that I believe might be worth testing out as a Mimighoul Maker target is Chewbone. when flipped it gives the opponent (you) three lvl-1 tokens, which alongside the Mimighouls (that are also lvl-1) can be xyz material for Number 13 or 31 (flip up all opponent's monsters), Lyriluscs (like Ensenblue for the non-opt bounce) or whatever other rank-1 that could be useful
Let me get this straight. These mfs, have 6 starters, 3 pseudo starters, and every other member that aren't starters enables you to run 6 copies of TTT?
master of ham came out in phantom nightmare not photon hypernova just an fyi unless im wrong and it was reprinted in nightmare but i know its definitely in phantom nightmare cause ive pulled him from that set
Honestly I don't think it will do much for Subterror, because only the archetype is flip based, the actual longstanding build for Subterror is not a flip deck. Flipping is just a mechanism by which to get Fiendess for a negate. Subterror doesn't need more flip support, it needs a better way to draw Red-Eyes Fusion so they can go into the best Subterror monster: Red Eyes Dark Dragoon
Mimighoul maker is random, you do not get to choose which flip monter your opponent gets. This means you cant search it along side a mimighoul monster, unless you wanna risk a 50/50. If you search both shit cards, you will end up with one of them stuck in your hand. I dont think this is worth it over just simply getting your engine running.
@@DocConradYGO lmfao fun fact I was able to tell it was a quick play spell from zooming in so I went through quick play spells, completely missed it. Spent like 10 minutes waiting for the quality to be better on the card randomly, saw the letter s and proceeded to sift through the s’s till I found it 😂
This also turns off the new "maxx c" cards, if they ever use it against this? Actually, in the ocg, can you maxx c during your turn and special these guys on their field to draw?
