Very well done, my friend. As a huge fan of The Strokes, I give this my "Strokes Stamp of Approval". I could see The Strokes themselves actually digging this tune.
Thank you so much, highest kind of compliment i can receive 🙏 i hope you liked it enough to add it to ya playlists and share with ya friends, really means the world ☺️
Wow. I mean really, wow. This is fascinating how a band can have such a distinct sound that it can be reproduced like this. It's more than just proving a point though, you've created a really good song! If you wanted to make an album of this, you could tour as something beyond a tribute band, it would be like the Strokes from an alternate dimension. Amazing stuff, added to my rotation for sure.
Wow, i am so humbled and honored by this comment! That is exactly my plan, lots more where this came from, thank you so much, your support means the world 🙏
Ayyyy i am so happy to hear that, thank you for your support! I hope you enjoy it enough to find it on streaming, add it to ya playlists, share with ya friends, it really makes a difference 🙏
Definitely like it! This piece is like a tribute to the Strokes from - I don't know - ROF age? Not quite the... uhm... modern Strokes (patiently waiting for anything after TNA). Thanks!
Thank you so much for listening! Yes i was absolutely going for a ROF vibe with this one, I'm so happy that comes across! I hope you enjoyed it enough to find it on streaming, add it to ya playlists, share with ya friends, it really makes a difference 🙏
Thank you so much my friend 🙏 lots more where this came from, would appreciate it so much if you streamed it, added it to playlists, shared it with your friends, etc, your support means the world!
LOVE THIS!!!!! and idk much about music theory but there is like a slight lightness and jazziness in your vocals compared to julian - sometimes the tone kind of reminds me of sondre lerche almost? e.g. human hands, soft feelings, i know something that's gonna break your heart, despite the night megamix. another song that i dream about being strokes-ified: amazing rain by ryan sambol. anyway big fan. not just what you do but how you do it :-)
I am FLATTERED and GOBSMACKED i ADORE Sondre Lerche! Thank you so much for the kind words and the support! It'd mean the world if you'd find the song on streaming, add it to ya playlists, share it with ya friends, etc, it really makes a difference 🙏
Awesome song. The instrumentals are perfect. The only thing is that you strain with the vocals a little too much. Julian's vocals are smooth as butter.
Thank you so much for listening, I'm happy you like the song! Full thing is on Spotify and Apple Music, would mean a lot of you'd add it to your playlists to share with your friends, etc!
It should be noted that while it otherwise sounds like a Strokes song, it also vaguely sounds similar to Before the Lobotomy by Green Day because of the timbre.
